Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Multiple games available and if you have questions, just ask. They were more than willing to answer. Took my nephew in for Magic: The Gathering play. Other players were also very helpful to him and I with instructing him on how to play. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking to play.
Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Cool store!
As a new player this LGS is extremely welcoming and great atmosphere
Good store, good gaming community.
Decent small town gaming shop. Owner is reasonably pleasant and stocks a decent variety of items. I find it good for miniature gaming as well as collectible card games such as magic. Store hours are limited and my biggest peeve is that he charges a membership fee to play on the tsbles. Maybe it's because I've never experienced this in the 100 other gaming stores I've visited But it bugs me so much I won't shop here normally.
Seriously though I feel free play areas would make people spend more money by staring at the merchandise longer.
Excellent setup for a college town tabletop and miniature game store. I can personally recommend this place to anyone new in the area. I will definitely come by here again next time I'm in the Radford area.
visited this store on small business Saturday, when we walked in (myself and my 2 sons) the person working was decorating a Christmas tree in the front window. i recently introduced a childhood game to my family, D&D, which led us to this "comic book store". Just a great and fun experience, good stock and extremely helpful and friendly staff. totally enjoyed my visit.
I came in and bought some Axis and Allies miniatures today, and I had a great time. The owner was helpful and had an opinion on every brand I asked him about, which I found helpful. After my purchase, I sat down and chatted with him for a bit, and the owner answered any and all questions I had, and even busted out his private collection of miniatures to show me! All in all it was a great trip, and definitely money well spent.
