This was an AWESOME experience. Our captain Monty made it great from the start.. the sail was smooth until he playful dipped our feet! Such a good time. Great views. We sailed at sunset.. can't wait to see the photos they take for you. They do charge 40 dollars for the SD card. But totally worth it. Thanks again captain monty!
The Commotion on the Ocean Cruise was great! Even though it rained on our cruise, the staff was awesome and still made the night fun! Would definitely recommend.
Had some awesome experience with them. Offers great packages. They take a lot of care and precautions for guest's safety. Surely visiting them again.
My boyfriend and I did the Rum and Reggae Sunset cruise. The crew was fun and made the experience enjoyable for everyone (Ryan, Emily, Megan). There were SO many moon jellies. We had to go to a couple different spots to get away from them. (their sting did not hurt). They immediately began serving the rum punch when you got back on the boat (very good and plentiful). Lots of fun and drinks for a cheap price!
We took our Family of seven on the dolphin and snorkeling, the staff and crew of the boat were great. We had a up close and personal view of dolphins and a great time snorkeling and seeing sea sponges and lobsters and tons of smaller fish and even a nurse shark. The Captain Christina and her first mate devin were very knowledgeable and so sweet to our 3 year old twins.
This is must stop. The employees are great. Very nice and give great information. Free drinks are amazing. The snorkeling was amazing and something that should be done. Will definitely do this again when I am in the area.
I did a snorkeling excursion with them. The snorkeling itself was amazing of course. Visibility was kind of poor but it was a great experience. As for staff, the guys were pretty funny in the begging. But became rude when the foreign tourist did not follow instructions. Hello! They don't understand you! But of course at the end of the ride they request tips for being rude to people. If this is how the company makes a living and wants to be compliant with the coast guard, a few bilingual workers will help them stay compliant and save these men a headache. This is a tourist destination after all.
*SNORKELING DONE RIGHT*
We did two separate trips with Fury in two consecutive days. I'll start off by saying that we had a 9AM double dip planned but due to forgetting our wallets we missed it, totally our fault but they were super accommodating and allowed us to transfer our time to the 12:30 double dip. It was a very windy and rainy day and when we boarded, we were notified that we wouldn't be going to the barrier roof because even the best swimmers would get sea sick, although disappointed, we understood. When we arrived to the gulf side, the waves were high and lots of rain. Many people went in anyway including ourselves but it was just way too choppy and hard to see anything. But the staff understood the disappointment and brought us to the second location which was a lot better. Only a little rain but we were able to all get in the water. The ride back made that trip worth it because the staff were a lot of fun and provided a good time. The second snorkeling trip was the morning one at 9:30AM and this was on a slower boat and unfortunately again we had to go to the gulf side instead of the barrier reef. We obviously weren't very happy about seeing the same thing twice but they brought us out and there was an immense difference between the days. They dropped anchor at a different spot than the previous day and there was tons of fish to see. The trip back again was very enjoyable and many people sunbathed on the deck or enjoyed the wind in their hair. When I come back, I'll be booking with them again. Just beware the parking areas near these attractions range from $20-30 and very limited parking so be prepared, especially at their Greene St location.
We took the three hour dolphin sighting and snorkel tour. The dolphin sightings were amazing and the captain was very respectful while they played around the boat to make sure both sides of the boat got a chance for ample photo/ video coverage. We were informed the boats see dolphins 85% of the time. The crew was very helpful and knowledgeable for first time snorkelers. The area off of Mule Key where we snorkeled did have much abundance of fish, however we saw a few other creatures like sponges, new coral growth, crustaceans, etc. As a more advanced snorkeler I would have liked to have seen a large area, large coral reef with abundant fish. The boat gives out free drinks and between that and hospitality more than deserves a nice gratuity. Three stars for being expensive compared to other trips we've been on around the Keys.
We took the commotion on the ocean sunset trip. The vessel we were aboard had major restroom issues with both restrooms on board. They ran out of food but had plenty of drink available. The band was great and the crew was friendly. With some work to their fleet to clean up the vessel and combined with the great party experience and the sunset the experience would have been great and five star.
My wife and I along with 3 other couples did the "Commotion on the Ocean" sunset tour along with the "Jet Ski Around the Island" We were very disappointed in the "Jet Ski Around the island" was not as they advertised. We specifically asked the elderly woman at the kiosk if it went all the way around the island and if we were allowed to separate from single file to do spins and jump waves. She told us several times that that was correct along that we didn't need shoes because when we stop on beaches that it was all sand. In actuality the tour consisted of a single file line only part way around the island and no stops at any beaches. We made one attempt to go outside the single file line and were warned to not do that. The seas were"very calm" that day so weather was not an issue. Our group of four couples are all in their 50's and were experienced Jet Ski riders and were disappointed it that it was not as "advertised". We thought that maybe the sales woman was just a bad apple doing anything to get a commission so we stopped at another kiosk that evening and asked the same questions, The man in that kiosk proceeded to tell us the same story as the woman. When we confronted him on it he got belligerent and started arguing with us. On the bright side the Jet Ski staff was very professional and did a great job. On a side note when we all arrived for the "Commotion on the Ocean" cruise they did not have a record of one couples reservation so they had to pay the $118 on credit card again! Bottom line is the Fury Kiosk Staff needs to be more honest with the customers than concentrating on a sales commission!
We did the commotion on the ocean. It was worth every penny. Actually, it's one of the must things to do in Key West. Food was good (don't expect a 5 star dinner, but was decent enough), drinks lasted long enough to be able to take one to go. Will definitely go every time I go. Ps. There was a pirate cruise next to us that almost tipped over from the wind. This is hands down the better and safer way to go!! Great service, great captain!
I loved this experience. price was fair for the activities that you're able to do, and the food they provide its not bad at all. You can also get unlimited wine and/or beer. staff was friendly and helpful. it was a great birthday for me
Had a great time on the bundle tour (jet ski, parasail, kayak, snorkel, water sports). Unfortunately our day was cut in half because of weather and we didn't get to snorkel. However, we did get a refund for that portion.
Friendly staff, equipment in good condition, definitely bring your own camera to take photos. Food was adequate and drinks were cold. We got a deal which included the sunset cruise which was 2 hours and likely the best part. Can't beat a Key West sunset. Overall, it was fun!!
