Finding relaxing a large area to ride your bike and be at the ocean as well you can do kayaking to another fun canoeing water sports

Quite a nice park in Fort Pierce! Love the picnic tables,barbecues, the free telescopes. And then just walking the jetty at night with the stars the moon, hearing the waves crash in the soft glow of the path lights. Thank you St. Lucie County.

Beautiful location right on the coast. Nice beach. Great for swimming and surfing. The park is a perfect area for picnicking and hiking on trails.

My wife and I completely enjoyed ourselves here people are amazingly friendly the ocean is warm and enjoyable. We even saw a Manatee swimming around us

Perfect in every way. The beach here is beautiful. Great for kids because the jetty makes for calmer waves.

One of the greatest state parks to visit for the purpose of relaxation and inventing your own fun.
Catch the crystal clear water coming in at high tide and snorkel the jetty or catch little greenies in the tide pools. Kids love climbing on the jetty rocks, feeling like distant explorers.
Travel back toward Dynamite point and you'll see families hanging on the playground or the avid fisherman maneuvering their way through the mangroves to catch fish on the bend.
Are there surfers, definitely. Some are still learning how to develop a sense of respect for locals, but for the most part you can't beat the surf culture you'll find here. The break is definitely worth mentioning. Regardless of the size of the bump, it's always been a fun ride.
Early morning dawn patrols can't be beat, with a stunning sunrise and teeming wildlife.
Nice little shower and bathroom setup at boardwalk 1. Plenty of seclusion from the crowds found at boardwalk 3-4.
Park now has an official rental business for paddle boards and bikes. Best money spent if you can book a paddle tour with Eddy Fredryk.response / report this review -

This was a wonderful place to bring my family. my 4yo son had a blast. The beach is a very gentle slope so there's plenty of room to let the kids play without worrying about them going too deep. It was also wasn't crowded and I think we had to pay to park so it was clean and quiet. I didn't have to worry about safety or loud crowds of cursing teenagers or anything like that. I wish we had found this beach sooner than our last day.
