Moderate level hike, nice place to walk/run on a Sat/Sun morning. Unfortunately, when I went, part of the hike was closed, yet they did not post anything online, which is why it receives 4 instead of 5 stars

Absolutely stunning views of Los Angeles, Century City and the coastline. However, this is actually privately owned. The property is used for different events and not accessible to the public unless you're attending a specific event. The area encompasses more acreage than Disneyland.

The Fryman Canyon park is a very well maintained wide and easy to moderate jogging/hiking/walking/mountain biking path. It is popular and as a result the parking lot (free) may be full but the turnover is quick so it's worth waiting. Most neighborhood streets are not conducive to parking.
The one thing I find odd is the long downhill through the neighborhood for the last 1/4 of the loop. It's a nice neighborhood but I was missing the woodsy terrain as a finale. Perhaps the better way to go is to reverse the trek and go up the hill through the streets to the other entrance and hike to summit near Tree People then exit through the park property. It's a nice walk.

Great spot I take my mama and doggie for a little family mini hike. It's private and short but sweet, good view. On a hot day the dry dust can be too much for a little doggie but just bring a towel! Sometimes they have doggie bags but I just bring some to put in for other people.

Its a good "beginner" hiking trail. Easier than Runyon Canyon be better ups and downs.

Wow! I can't believe I've lived in Los Angeles all my life and just recently found this place! The "park" isn't very glamorous, but it has an amazing 360 view of Los Angeles! Definitely worth climbing up the steps!

We tried going for a hike on a Sunday morning and there was absolutely no parking at the main entrance. We ended up driving up to a residential area where we found ample street parking and an entrance to a hike that took us to Mulholland drive with magnificent views. It also had a sweet creak at one point of the hike. It was great for the kids too. Not a striker friendly path.

Fryman Canyon Park is so huge and there are some many parts for you to explore. Definitely spent a good few hours walking around here. Lots of museums for you to check out as well as a Japanese Tea Garden! Worth a visit if you're in Studio City, CA !
