From the Forest is a class-act from the products they offer, to their staff, and customer support. I have gotten such nice compliments on my new floors! Also, I can attest to their scratch resistance! I have an active German Shepherd who runs around and plays on these floors, and there’s absolutely no sign of scratches, dings, dents or anything on them. Fabulous product & company- highly recommend!

Is there a negative value star I can give this product? My floor creaks and is very unstable with humidity. Yet their dealer sold it to me as a floor that could be used in a high humidity climate. Of course they wanted to say it was installation but we had a professional do it. They sent an inspector who made comments on areas she could not even visualize. $2100 down the drain. DO NOT BUY THEIR ENGINEERED WOOD PRODUCTS.

Our builder installed this floor in our new home. After 9 months, it started chipping and peeling and soon our floor was full of splinters! After MULTIPLE attempts, the company would not respond and finally our builder offered to replace it. They replaced it with the same product and here we are not even 1 year later with the same thing happening! Do not do business with a company that will not stand behind their product!

Avoid this company's products like the plague. We had the Sunset Maple installed in our main dining room, and down several halls, around 2 years ago. We live in a very dry area of the USA and the floor gets no direct sunlight. We used only floor care products recommended for the floor. But we recently started moving rugs and furniture around only to find that everywhere that a shadow was cast, where most rugs were laid, or a piece of furniture made contact with the floor, the floor was very darker. The uncovered portions had faded terribly. The retailer who sold it to us passed our concerns on to the distributor who they purchased it from, They in turn initiated a warranty claim to From the Forest. From the Forest denied our claim. We never saw the claim that was submitted or anything from "From the Forest" as to why we were denied. Their web page for the Sunset Maple clearly states that the product has a lifetime warranty on the finish. . But if you read the From the Forest warranty section of their website you'll see that the warranties offered by this company aren't worth the paper you could print them on. I'm a woodworker and I have pieces that I finished more than 20 years ago (and are darker) that haven't faded at all and have set in direct sunlight for years. The quality of their products and/or finishing techniques suck. So, now we're stuck with a hideously, unevenly faded floor that we'll have to pay to have replaced. I'd never recommend their products. We got screwed out of a lot of money buying their junk. We will read warranties much more carefully before buying a hardwood product.
