Fun, safe, and resourceful place to shoot!
This range is open to the public!
The range offers pistol and rifle ranges that vary in 25, 50, 100, and 300 yards. There is a plinking range with steel targets for .22's and a throw your own trap range.
The top of the line 13 station automated sporting clays course changes weekly offering a new experience every time you shoot.
The staff is friendly and provide a safe shooting environment for everyone.
The clubhouse sells ammo, targets, and firearms. They also have offer rental firearms.response / report this review -

Extra Safety is the name of the game. If you think for a second that you can act in an unsafe manor, dont come. Great place to practice long or short range. Long gun, shotgun and your favorite hand gun. That 50Cal Desert Eagle blew my ears off but great to shoot.

Great place. Has pretty much everything you can ask for - yes, it is outdoor so might get cold, but how many other places do you know off that offer 300 yds + range. They also have a place for shotguns (have to bring your own clay pigeons, or buy some once there) and handguns. We always go there before the deer season starts to make sure can still shoot. When we went there, the place appeared to be very busy, but we were able to get into the range within couple of minutes. Once there, range officers were very friendly (not like nazi at another place some of you might know). Perfect balance of shooting and breaks. All my friends and I like this place a lot and we'll be definitely back very soon.

One of the best places for shooting traps. Nice hand throwers that can do doubles. Sporting clays also available. Well organized rifle range. This is reasonably priced for both shooting and boxes of clays. Well worth the trip from Milwaukee.

Great range and a great deal, its not uncommon in Illinois to go to ranges and pay $35 an hour per lane. Went on a Monday and we practically had the 50 yard range to ourselves. Our range officer (Pete? Paul? Something with a P) was very knowledgable and professional. If you need to buy targets or ammo here, the prices are understandibly high but we stocked up on both prior to arrival. The only ding I have is the apparent Wasp nest at the far end of the 50 yard range. We were mostly left alone by them, however we were certainly scared as one in our group has an allergy to bee stings.

I was at the 50yd line having problems zeroing in my 45/70 when the range master Paul came over and gave me some much needed pointers .turned a very frustrating day into a great day ! THANK you Paul!

Was there mid May 2017. Not crowed at all. Staff were respectful. I rented a rifle for $25. Paid $18 for 3 boxes of 22LR ammo. The groupon vouchers are worth paying.

Its crowed & you have to wait to go shooting. There are people that don't know a thing about what they are supposed to do, so the range guy was always having to tell these people to stop doing stuff or they would get kicked it. Didn't make you feel very safe shooting next to some 20 year olds that are horsing around instead of being safe.

Always fun to shoot here. Did trap for the first time. Good location. We went right at open so the sun is in your face for like a half hour, but not to bad. The facilities are nice. Very strict, but also cool guys.

This is the best best range Ive been to. The RSO's are pretty nice and the customer service is good. Plenty of variety in distances to shoot and is clean. Definitely worth the drive
