I never write reviews but had to for this place. I was interested in a used truck and I had a lease trade-in. I spoke with someone at the dealership and they said to bring the lease in and they can see what they can do. Long story short, after I spent 3 hours driving to the dealership and looking at the truck, they decided to tell me they do not take lease trade-in's. I was told by the manager that their "internet people" do not know that their dealership does not take lease trade-in's. I understood that I would take a hit on my lease but was willing to spend the extra money on the buyout. What a waste of my time! I was even willing to pay cash for the truck and keep my lease but was so annoyed with their shady ethics that I just got up and left the place. Not to mention when I was speaking with a salesman, he was Googling on his computer and not listening to me. Word of advice, stay away.
Beautiful new setup call ahead and make an appointment. Usually pretty booked
Been buying Dodge vehicles from Gary Tramontano for almost 20 yrs. Followed him to Freehold Dodge. Still the same great service Great guy, straight forward with pricing and info. Glad I'm here getting my pickup!
The Service Department at this dealership is really lacking. I went in a few weeks ago to see if they could fix an issue with my truck. They said yes, but I would have to order the parts myself. Strange, as I never had a Service Department direct me to get the parts needed and then come back to make a service appointment. My experience with every other dealership I have been to is you drop your vehicle off for service and they coordinate anything they need to fix it. I thought it was weird, but that's what I did.
I ordered the genuine OEM parts that Service told me were needed and returned to the Service Department to make an appointment. It was at this point that they then told me because the parts were not ordered from THEIR parts department, they could not fix the truck. They told me the only way they can fix the issue with the truck is if I was to go to their parts department, reorder the parts, and then come back to Service to make the appointment.
I tried to explain that this is what I was directed to do, and was not given any specifications on how to order the parts. Their suggested remedy was I take the vehicle elsewhere to get fixed; good advice in the end I guess, as taking my vehicle "elsewhere" is what I will do moving forward. I will also share my experience directly with FCA Corporate.
Let me start off by saying I am a manager at another dealership and freehold jeep is the WORST dealership around, my fiancé and I went there to look for a brand new rubicon and the salesman Micheal was the nastiest person we've ever spoken to, we went up to a manager and asked to work with someone else since right off the back the jersey shore wanna-be first pumper was cocky and beyond arrogant, they said only he was available. really ? Lol ok good service guys. We gave him a shot and he quoted is a monthly price $150 higher then what we got at the previous dealer we were at, then he low balled us on the trade, needless to say we left, prior to leaving we asked where the manger is and he was no where to be found, after driving away my fiancé decided to call and make a complaint, the kid Micheal answered and hung up on him, then he called again and a girl answered and they had someone pretend to be a Manager and then he hung up as well. Shortly after it was past 8pm and this idiot decided it was a good idea to txt us and harass us so we called corporate and informed them of the great customer service provided at FREEHOLD JEEP. We went to Shrewsbury Jeep and got a great deal (that is it in our photo)
We are now in the process of getting one more car (needed for heavier tow capacity for our RV) and they've guaranteed us to never consider them or recommend to anyone.
They are honest and they always give us the right price.
Horrible service from a horrible two-faced salesman who constantly lied through his teeth. I wish I could detail every ounce of stress a particular salesman inflicted upon me, but then I'd be writing a novel.
While I have no problem with your gender, race or creed, it's a little disconcerting when you can't understand a single word the salesman helping you is saying. When I walked in I was greeted by what appeared to be a kind, personable Indian gentleman, if you can even call him a kind, personable gentleman. His thick accent made it hard for me to understand what he was saying and I didn't like having to ask him to repeat himself over and over.
When I told him what used car I was interested in he walked me out to the lot to take a look. He blatantly lied to me about every feature of the car and refused to admit he was wrong when I pointed out several parts of the car that were clearly missing. He claimed that all of the missing parts were "features," the first red flag. I decide to take the car for a test drive anyway to see how it felt. While it drove, it was accompanied by an incessant squeaking which he claimed to be the positioning of the license plate sitting on the dash. When I asked him if he could move it or pick it up to support his claim he pulled out one excuse after another in order to confuse and distract me, never actually following through or showing me any sign of reassurance or good faith the second red flag.
By now it has only been 10-15 minutes and all he's done is lie to me time and time again with a clearly contrived two-faced smile, anything in order to sell the car and get his paycheck, not caring that an actual person stand before him. With all of the issues the car had it was clearly over priced and I wouldn't be surprised if he inflated the price himself, and as you may of guessed he refused to budge on the price what-so-ever, eventually taking off the equivalent of 1%. All of this and more created one of the worst experiences with a salesman in my life, no to mention he made my wife feel very uncomfortable with a few misplaced comments and remarks. It boggles my mind how someone so greedy and careless for other's feelings could of ever possibly been hired at any establishment. You ever see those hack do-anything-short-of-murder salesmen on TV who constantly lie and scheme to get a quick buck? He painted the perfect portrait.
If this man was indicative of the business as a whole, then I would never visit this establishment or recommend it to anyone. I decided to visit another Dodge dealership and after meeting a very kind gentleman and having one of the best buying experiences of my life decided to opt for a new car instead.
If you do decide to visit this business, I recommend you stay away from this salesman in particular in order to avoid any stress or blatant scam he decides to drop upon you. He will treat you like a moron and a chump and will smile the whole way through.
I'm very saddened by the service from the sales staff. I went into the dealership about 2 weeks ago ready to buy that day. I had a cashiers check in my back pocket for a near 40% down on a HellCat, found the car I want, almost a perfect match except for the red seat belts. I asked the salesman to provide me with the offer they are making for my trade in and the sales price of the car I was purchasing. All he provided was a monthly payment. I requested this information 2 more times and again all he gave me was a monthly payment total.
I could careless about the payment total, I know I can afford the vehicle otherwise I would not of been ready to buy that day. But when he didn't provide me with the requested information he made me feel as if they are hiding something. I went to Ramsey Dodge where I found the exact car I wanted and drove off their lot within 2 hours or arrival.
I here to test drive a car I had interest in and Morton Brach made my experience very easy and laid back. I showed interest in a Mazda3 and Mort provided all the stats on the car for me and sold me a car that I love very much. He worked with me on a reasonable price and made sure my car buying experience was smooth. I can't thank the sales team, especially Mort, for providing me with a car that I will be proud to have for years to come!
Bought a used Ram last month with no warranty, great price, very easy to deal with (Jay was the salesman), had a service issue and they took of the issue quickly and with no charge! Great customer service is taking a bad situation and using it as an opportunity to convert that customer into a brand advocate. Great job by the management team and Jay in service! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great deal and an even better service experience!
hi ,ray was very good for me to work with! He started early in the morning talking to me even before the shift start. he answered all my questions with in minutes..I was very pleased working with him. I saw some of the other staff and all were polite. I would recommend freehold dodge to anyone Thanks for making my experience stress free and smooth. my whole family loves the truck .thanks again!
First time buying a car from a dealership, and it was a great experience. Surprisingly stress free and very quick. Everyone there was attentive and professional. Bryan and Dave were great to work with during the experience. Love my Dodge Charger!!
Recently leased a Scat Pack Charger from this dealership. Have to admit it was a pleasurable, fast experience. They were very responsive to my needs and worked with me on the price. I previously spent a month contacting numerous dealers in the tri-state area, they all played games. Thanks Bryan, Ira!
Did you know that your car battery, in a 2013 that was bought in 2015, isn't covered in the "extended" warranty? So when your battery died a month why of having the car for 1 year, there's nothing anyone can do to help you. "It's unusually for a battery to die before 3 years of use, but it has happened." So now we're in the hole for the cost of a battery, and thanking the Service manager for his help was answered by promptly hanging up the phone. Good job, guys. Way to beat the bad reviews.
