Excellent customer service! Carter is hands down the nicest ever! Love shopping for cars with you!
LEMON-WOOD TOYOTA.. It is important to warn you about this dealership. Ill try to keep it short and to the point. I bought a new 2017 Camry from Lakewood Toyota and in under 9,000 miles the transmission has broken down and needed to be replaced twice. I bought his car brand new in July and this will be the 3rd transmission put into it, think about that for a second. A month after the first failure I had warning lights appear and I brought it in for a complete diagnostic check up. Lakewood Toyota once again assured me it was safe. The second time the transmission failed I was going down the NJ Turnpike and it almost resulted in a serious accident, and now these guys are having a “safety first” sales event, what a joke! My salesmen Jim O'Brien and the Managers there have responded to this with arrogance and indifference. The service department has been extremely helpful but I know what they are thinking but cannot say, this car is an obvious lemon. I don't trust it with my family riding in it and I never will. I’m going to try to appeal to Toyota, hopefully they will do the right thing..
The General Manager Mark Fusco and salesman Carter Nies went above and beyond our expectations with getting the exact car we wanted and answering all questions and concerns we had. We had a great experience and would highly recommend them to friends and family.
Thanks Toyota World of Lakewood.
Wouldn't think of taking my vehicle anywhere else. Knowledgable, friendly, clean and fair. Bill, the service manager, is a fine gentleman that cares about the customers and Steve and Angel are two of my favorite representatives, but there are several and you're sure to find someone that will assist you best. Thanks for taking great care of me and more importantly of my Tundra!
This place hands down is the best! I came in to look at a Tundra and there was no BS sales games what so ever. I got a fair deal and was in and out. Even the General Manager came over to thank me for my business.
You owe it to yourself to check them out! I've tried the rest and these guys are the best!
John
Go to Gateway Toyota (Toms River) instead. Went to hand in a lease today (Labor Day) after the person on the phone said anytime before 6. When I arrived at 5 they said they aren't taking leases since the person who does them was not in. I asked if anyone else could, since they told me to come in and my wife is 9 months pregnant. They said no. When I asked if I wanted to purchase a lease would they take it and they said yes since then they are making money. Clearly the only focus is on making money and not customer service- after we've been paying for 3 years so no longer making money off us. Gateway Toyota said to come right over to hand it in!
I could not be happier with my experience purchasing a new Toyota Highlander XLE at Lakewood Toyota. Mark (General Manager) and his team, Bob, Steve and Paul all create a superior sales experience. Each of them were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Toyota vehicle. If you want to be treated like family, go see my new friends at Lakewood Toyota.
John Lucky is an excellent salesman! He cares about the satisfaction of the client and did everything in his power to see me walk away with nothing less than a smile on my face! He is personable and called me less than 48 hours after my purchase to see if I was happy with my purchase and to see if I had any questions that he could help me with. I had my corolla for over 11 years so the Toyota brand speaks for itself but when you have staff like John Lucky that says a lot! He's aces in my book! I hope he's there when I return in a few years to sell me my next car! I couldn't be happier with my Toyota 86, this car is amazing!
Jim O'Brien and Toyota Scion World of Lakewood offer hassle free, stress free purchase for my son, and return of my lease from start to finish. Jim O'Brien is the person to see if you want to have a positive experience. Thank you Jim and Toyota Scion World.
I came to this dealership over 3 yrs ago purchased a 2010 Corolla S which I thought was a good deal at the time come to find out I'm paying $28,000 for this car that's not worth more then $7,000 in KBB no dealership will look at this car because the finance is so upside down, I told them my situation with money and I needed them to do the best they could and they decide to give me a vehicle that wasn't worth more then $14,000 and upped the price by at least $8,000 before interest and kept me at a lower interest to make the deal look good .. thank you I will never return to this dealership again remind you I made my way back in 4 TIMES because they said they might be able to help me and gave me the stiff arm every time and said they couldn't do anything. Terrible dealership with liars behind the books.
My sister had leased a vehicle from this location 4 months ago. After having an issue with the vehicle and a bit of a back and forth with the company, the issues have, so far, been resolved. Despite a rough start and a misunderstanding (possible due to miscommunication), Bill went out of his way to correct this issue. He was able to look past everything and focus on solving the issue at hand, and to me this shows a lot of character. For my sister, this meant peace of mind, as she now knows that if any future problem arises, she has someone to talk to and a place to go.
I want to thank everybody involved at Toyota World for the great work, especially Bill West who went out of his way to make sure that all our concerns were addressed and that my sister would leave knowing there is a great, caring team, she could always come back to, if needed.
Thank you Bill West and thank you Bill Kelly. I appreciate you keeping me in the loop, and going over and under so that she would leave a happy customer.
Carter Nies was my sales associate and he was awesome. Would definitely go back to Carter myself and also would recommend him to friends and family. Carter really took the time to understand what my wife and I wanted and then he got us the best price possible. Pretty simple.
After finding "the" car online I scheduled a visit with intent to purchase. On arrival, I was broken-hearted to learn that my car was not an automatic. Jim O'Brien, my salesman, came to the rescue. He spent much time searching other dealerships and found me the exact car I had hoped for - a sterling silver Scion iA. I am not into the dynamics of negotiating for a "good deal" but Jim made the process painless. I am happy that we came to an agreement that was fair to both of us. Steve zipped through the financials with me. While at Toyota I was introduced to Eric in the service department and assured that maintenance would be attended to in an equitable way. A smiling Brandon showed me the basics of my new car.
Many thanks to you again Jim - for everything.
P.S. Their coffee is awesome!
