We brought our 5 year old son to Fred Astaire Katy for dancing lessons as we wanted him to know the basics of Latin style dancing. What started out as just quick lessons has really turned out to be his favorite activity. He absolutely loves his instructor, Nikki. I can’t say enough amazing things about her. She is so patient, supportive and caring but firm with him. They even have their own little high five routine after a good practice. I can see his confidence in general really growing after starting lessons there, not to mention his amazing dancing routines he already is able to do. She is really wonderful with kids. All the instructors there is really nice and very supportive of him. They have all kinds of events for the students to practice their skills which is just wonderful. I highly recommend this place for kids as well as adults. They are amazing!

I came to the Katy Fred Astaire Dance studio not really knowing what to expect, but I have been blown away. This is such a fun place to learn how to dance without being judged. All of the instructors are super nice and amazing but I have to give a huge shout out to Nikki who has put up with us and our craziness. They have great group classes as well as individual and couple classes. They also have great social dance parties where you can practice what you have learned. They also have competitions if you are interested in those as well. They have classes from absolute beginners to the advanced, as well as male and female instructors. This is a fantastic place and I highly recommend them!

I felt very welcomed when I joined the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Katy. Not only by the instructors, but the other students as well. I have learned so much in my private and group lessons and have had loads of fun! My favorite dances are the smooth dances such as Tango and Waltz, but my private instructor Damion - he rocks - has opened my eyes to the possibilities of rhythm dances too. I am working towards the Foundation level of the dance program so that I may one day be able to ballroom dance competitively. Cheers!

We love this dance studio! My fiance and I have been taking private lessons there for our wedding. We have absolutely zero dance experience but our instructor Allison is super helpful, fun, and patient! We even changed our first dance song after a couple of lessons and she just rolled with it. We learn a lot every lesson! Communication is also great and scheduling is very easy.

I did not dance at all before my wife and I started here. I went in for the quick intro lessons to get through our 20th anniversary party. The staff and other students quickly developed in us a love for dance. Just over a year later we have done two show performances and competed. We go 5-6 times a week. All of the instructors are awesome teachers and amazing people. If they can teach me to dance they can anyone. We love this place and our Fred Astaire Katy family.
