Best school in Tennessee. The teachers push the students to be the absolute best they can be. They set their own standards, and they are set to push the students harder than they ever have. The are some classes that are only offered at Maryville. I would suggest that any parent that has the option, send their child to MHS. They will be better educated because of it.

Poor leadership in this school system. Too much emphasis on sports which hopefully will decline with the departure of George Quarles. Students failing classes are not only permitted to participate in sports, but are recruited by coaches/teachers that are struggling in their own class. Highly overrated school that mostly had Football to offer, but expect that to decline steadily beginning in 2016. Also caught the coach in a lie, when confronted they all put their head in the sand and ignored. Interesting after that incident is when the sports started to decline.

Best all around school in the area. Amazing faculty truly prepare students for college, life and beyond. And yes they have amazing sports programs. Not just football but all of them

Out of the 3 high schools I attended I can tell you that MHS is one of the best high schools around. Some of the best teachers as well. However the school is not in the best of shape. Most of the money is spent on the football program.

Academic programs pretty good for the students but when it comes to the sports program they are show favoritism toward one more then the other. It's pretty sad when some of the other schools sports organizations need to work like dogs just to get money for their organization so that they can get money from the school to go to state competitions.

I was originally supposed to go to this school when I moved to Knoxville but went to Halls instead. After reading all these reviews on how bad the school really is, I am now very happy my parents didn't let me go to that school.

One of your Caucasian students name Hunter Price told me i'm a " Stupid Niger Go back to picking cotton " . This Is not a school i would chose to send my child .

I do not appreciate my team being referred to as "the Blackman Bitches," I also don't very much enjoy the band and student section's blatant disrespect when one of our players was injured. Can't leave 0/5. Sad.

A beautiful campus, even though it is a bit cramped. My friends son graduated from Maryville and it is an excellent school.
