Excellent place to stop have dinner then a few drinks with friends. You can listen and dance to awesome freestyle music on Friday nights. The owner, Frank, is friendly and accommodating.

Ate here for the first time and it was delicious. Had the balsamic calamari and it was awesome. It was nice to try calamari a different way. Ordered the Delmonico steak for dinner. Great cut of meat, tender and delicious. Opted for truffle fries as a side. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentaive. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Went for the first time last night and was impressed with the service and the food was tasty. I complained that my wine pour was small and our waitress was really fantastic about it and topped it off. BUT, my steak was Medium when I asked for Rare. It's a steakhouse, right? MY husband asked for Medium Rare and got Medium too. I didn't want to wait for it to be redone, and I was super hungry, so I did not send it back. I ended up taking home a doggy bag, and I specifically wanted the bones for the dog. Today I opened up the bag and they forgot the bones. The service and the taste of the food was great, so I will probably try it again.

My absolute favorite place to grab a quick bite with family and friends! Always enjoy being here. The food is consistent and fresh and good. My favorite is the Montclair Salad that I add blackened shrimp to. Just discovered Taco Tuesday! Franklin Steakhouse is like Cheers- where everyone knows your name! Always feel welcome here.

Extremely busy Saturday night, and we still got seated within 10 minutes. The staff was working extremely fast, very kind and professional. The food came out very quickly and fresh. All in all, very impressed with the quality of the food, the speed of the staff, any overall value for a terrific meal!

Was there on Friday night around 11 pm. Older crowed. Bar service is exellent.
What i liked:
- Big parking lot
- Fast service
- Crowded
- Not strict dress code. Just casual
What i didnt like:
- People are dancing while. on TV s there was UFC and a lot of yellow light. they need to make that club atmosphere after the DJ set starts.response / report this review -

Fantastic beer selection, especially for local NJ/NY beers. Their steaks are always great, and their calamari is the best I've had. I always have a meal here when I'm in the area.

Good restaurant. Never had dinner here but ate lunch many times. This is a popular restaurant if a client is taking us to lunch. Even though I never paid, the cost is reasonable and the food is good.

Those Ribs Tho!!!!! Great atmosphere and staff. The manager came to our table and asked how we were doing and bid us farewell on the way out. We will definitely come again!!!

Good food. Great bar - large draft selection and scotch selection. If you want to watch a game a have a good meal this is a good choice.
