Very disappointed with the outcome from my four years at FCHS. I will be graduating from West Virginia University with honors this December and feel it necessary to share my experience. Since I had a sub par GPA in high school I was neglected from joining the Speech Team/Model UN and also the school radioboth activities I excel in at the collegiate level. This type of exclusion only hindered my passions. They believe there's causation between aptitude and GPA and that mentality allows privileged students to excel while student still "finding themselves" are left to toil. I only hope things have changed and equal opportunity has been expandedallowing broader clubs to be formed rather than exclusive teams.
