The food is good, and the service is not usually slow, even on a busy day. Casual dining experience good for families or a group of friends.

This is A Fantabulous Place!! Reluctantly I agreed w 32 Family members to call for Thanksgiving Dinner Catering.
I spoke to Joe about the menu and he was very helpful with every question I had. Satisfied everything I needed including extras..
Then when I went to pick it up .What a friendly place !! What a family place! Great people .wait staff .chefs and the Gentleman that loaded my car ! Yes loaded my car for me..
The food was Hot, just bought it home and put it on the trays to keep it warm .everybody help set up at my house everything was absolutely delicious!! The Turkey melted in your mouth .it was made ,everything was made as though it was being cooked for their family .it was absolutely terrific!
Had things in it that I bought thinking I would need to put on it it was already done it was cooked for a family member definitely will go back there again four catering..
All my family wants to do their catering for every single holiday. We were able to spend all that time together sitting down at a meal it was wonderful absolutely wonderful.
There were no surprises when I paid at the register the gentleman there was very helpful also..
Highly recommend you try it for a holiday .I'm sure you'll be like me and do it again and again.

Absolutely excellent food. Best value in all of Ocean County possibly all of New Jersey. The food is always excellent, the portions are ample and the check is never high. Add to that the most courteous staff around and you have one of the best kept secrets in NJ that shouldnt be kept secret!

Good food and cozy atmosphere. Great example of a Jersey diner! Parking can be tough at times but worth it. Get breakfast, lunch and dinner all day! Kids menu is available too for the little ones.

many visits nowand I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bad thing on the menu.
Breakfast is always spot on. The pancakes the best around--and the flavors--WOW!! Cinnamon bun pancakes? Red Velvet! Even just the regular pancakes are standout! Try the pancake wrapper---you won't be disappointed.
so now the dinners---REAL brick oven pizza (see who makes one better--Pat or Joe), chops and steaks have been great, burgers, wingsas I said--I have not had a bad meal yet! I come here and pass a few diners on the way from Brickstop by and you'll see why I do.response / report this review -

Amazing food here. Staff is very friendly and restaurant is clean. Menu is pretty stacked. I love the Energy Wrap! With the FRESH Fruit.

Very nice diner. Very good food. Service is friendly but slow. Very diverse menu. Kids menu. Prices are fair for the quality of the food! A dozen different types of salads and a wide variety of different hamburgers. A variety of different pizzas with a variety of different toppings. Fresh baked pastries. Comfortable dining environment.

Never been there for anything but breakfast, but the breakfast has always been very good. Eggs are cooked properly to order, a wide selection of entrees, prices are reasonable. They really need hash browns, but I'm otherwise pleased. Love the crab cake benny!

Decor, staff and cleanliness is great. I've been here a few times, but assure you I will not be going back. Have tried a wide variety of there items, and was not pleased with %95 of them. Grilled chicken Alfredo, the chicken was clearly boiled, broccoli was hard, overall dish was bland. Breakfast home fries, French fries and onion rings tasted like they were old and sitting out for awhile. Coffee was cold. Macaroni and cheese was served to us in under 5minutes, like it was refrigeratored for a few days and thrown in a microwave and tasted like pasty cheese (not creamy) ! Have tried there Panini's and was not a huge fan, the only things I've had that were remote ly decent is there French onion soup and spaghetti and meatballs. I kept coming back with hopes that they would live up to all the ranting and raving I hear, but I will not be giving them anymore chances . Sorry.

One of the better diners in the area.
Feels more like a restaurant than a diner. The menu isn't a 40 page, spiral-bound, laminated monstrosity. They interior isn't lined in chrome with mirrors everywhere. It's a cozy and warm atmosphere. The wait staff could be a little more attentive, but the food has always been good every time we've been there or ordered out. The Crystal Diner is less than 1/4 mile from my house, but it's well worth the trek out to Fischer Blvd to visit or pick up from the Four Seasons.response / report this review -

Great local place. Wonderful service. The food they serve is above quality for its type. They have a brick oven and everything seems to be made fresh on location from scratch. I'm pretty sure it's a family-run business and they do a great job. Always love visiting here as a treat for the family. Only complaint I really would have is that they could offer more healthy meat and dairy free options. Last time I was there I asked about the ingredients and they were extremely helpful. They bent over backwards to get me a delicious wonderful fresh meal with no meat and no Dairy. So if you aren't happy with the menu options feel free to ask the server. They seem very willing to accommodate their diners.
