Soft serve ice cream. Like this place for it's been in the neighborhood for years.

Good eats, burgers and fries. Ice cream is delish. Plenty parking, pleasant staff. Clean facilities, air conditioned, roomy seating area. You can order inside or at the windows. Chocolate dipped soft serve is my fave.

Very good soft serve ice cream, I have the Reese's peanut butter blaster or whatever they call it for about $4 and it was delicious! I like how their vanilla soft serve has a slight yellow color, makes it seem like real vanilla.

Growing up in Allied Gardens -- Foster's Freeze was a favorite spot.
My husband & I enjoy having a Foster's Classic with their delicious banana shake.

Service here is great. There's a good selection of food, and it's all reasonably priced. It's a small gem in San Diego.

Foster's Freeze is one of only two left in the county. They make great burgers, fries and shakes. Just like they've been doing since the 50s.

The veggies on the burgers are so fresh. The lettuce is actually crispy. Food isn't super greasy, and there's so many options for ice cream desserts. The staff are always friendly.

This place takes me back to a time when old time Soft Serve Ice Cream Brasseries (Foster Freeze, Tastee Freeze and Dairy Queen) were all the rage. I usually have to travel out of county to get this type of service as the other soft serve shops I've located in town only offer hot dogs, if that, and soft serve/desserts.
So happy I found this place. The customer service today was outstanding, thus the 4 stars, I'm already planning my return to tryout the different food options.

The highest I could give is a 4 because this place was over run by kids at the time I went. I am a parent so kids are not an issue for me, however these were unsupervised kids. They were running all over the place and using foul language 😕

I've been coming here for over 34 years I brought my children here and now they are bringing their children here the BEST burgers and ice cream for a great price! The employees and staff are so friendly and welcoming!!!! :) I LOVE FOSTERS FREEZE.

Food is great. I go there a lot for a quick bite but I don't like the teenager's employed. Sometimes they can be snobby. The cook is great though!
