My granddaughter recently had her 5th birthday party at the farm and everything was great. From the activities to the friendliness of the staff. would definitely visit them again.

it seems like they don’t care about scheduling new riders for lessons. I have left several messages with the receptionist to set up a private lesson package and nobody has called me back

We had a great time. They have good prices, very friendly staff, but what was very important to me they really care about the animals. We went on a private trail ride with Rusty, Zeba an amazing guide Kayla. I will recommend this place for all ages.

Forest view farms is a great horse back riding place! They have good prices that are cheaper then other places. I went on a trail ride and had a amazing guide. She told us how to steer our horse's and more. The horse are really nice and are professional so they know to follow the trail. I recommend this places for all ages and find out more on their website because that's not where the fun ends!

Went to a birthday party there. Nice outside set up but no bathrooms or water. The party was supposed to have pony rides for the kids. They brought out a small horse (for the bigger kids) and a pony. Each kid got to ride only one time for about 2 minutes being lead by someone. The bday girl got to go once on each horse. Then they took us on a hay ride thst showed us just piles of horse manure. Finally they took us to the petting farm where the kids got to pet goats and just look at other animals. I hope our hostess didnt pay too much!

While the barn may be quite dirty at most times, the animals are treated with proper vet care and love. Some may be treated better than others, but they're all treated fairly. The trails are excellent and clean with willing horses and lovely guides who are wonderful to chat with. Pretty okay service, but I wish that the ponies would be walked by a professional, or at least not by the paying customers. I would also appreciate not waiting for so long for trails, but I do understand.

I watched a lesson once, and the trainers seem quite knowledgeable but could use some learning theirselves. They're very nice people as well, and treat their students nicely and with respect. I like that, for the most part, the students are held responsible for preparing their own horses as well. If someone was uncomfortable with something, I noticed they were given one on one attention and that, to me, is very very nice. I would recommend lessons for anyone beginner-intermediate, but advanced riders won't be learning much. As far as driving lessons, I've never seen one in place, or even heard of one happening, so good luck with that.

Their petting zoo is cute and open. They have pigs, goats, chickens, ponies, donkeys, sheep, ducks, and even a peacock! Beautiful animals, but their pens could be kept cleaner and also could be fixed. There was a barn we were not allowed in, but it seemed to house quite a few animals as well. They certainly have a lot of animals!

Overall, I recommend the place, but they do need to do some SERIOUS cleaning and renovation.

I went to Forest View Farms a few weeks ago and it was a great place for trail rides we did the full hour and when through the forest preserve. But the horse I had, Sheba, was terrible! This horse should not be used for trail rides, the trail ride instructor had to let everyone else know not to let their horses get to close to mine. She tried to bite my shoe twice while I was still on her. It was a horrible first experience and the instructor was no help. I would go back but never ride that horse or instructor.

Forest View Farms gives me nightmares!!! These pour animals so sad my heart cries for them. I cant sleep at night.I have to speak up. These pour animals need a voice! They need help from their abuse and neglect!! All winter these animals stand and lay in their own feces without having their stalls cleaned. I watched animals be fed molded black rotten hay!! Draft Horses with such bad feet they are pancaked into the size of a large pizza. Pour babies can barely walk. 2 feet thick of cob webs on the ceilings. Stalls with over 2 feet deep of pilled up feces. A pony had not been out of his stall in months then brought to a pony party. He was scared and freaking out. The OWNER grabbed his halter and held it to his waste and every SINGLE time that pony moved wrong he hit is with the lead rope!!!! I SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES!! The workers drag goats by their horns. Water buckets are full of mold and filthy. Almost every horse I seen looks like they have founder!! One of their studd ponies stays in a encluser that is outside with NO shelter from the weather at all!! I watched ponies try to climb up the walls to break out of their stalls. Ponies are kept in horse stalls with no way of even seeing outside their stall. They never get turned out, groomed anything unless someone comes up for a pony walk. In which the adult who can have NO experience walks the pony by theirself in a area with so many holes in the ground and dangers of breaking their little legs. I have seen animals bleeding from their face with NO vet attention. Maggots feeding on wounds!! Sick animals disappear!!.where do they go??? Do they get buried across the street in the manure? How is it possible to be so good to hide such abuse and neglect?? Are their proper vet records, farrier records??

RIP all you beautiful souls that have suffered and died!! May heaven bring you happiness! May Karma come upon those that hurt innocent animals.
