This is a school of Democrat teachings. You can not think for yourself as if you support the republican party you are not allowed to walk, talk or speak of your public opinion. This has been going on for years and it's finally out in the open. Waste of government funding.

I attended the Lincoln Center campus for my MBA, and overall thought it was a satisfying and sufficiently challenging (no easy A's, but no "let's fail half the class crackpots either). I did note that most of my classmates who were part time were in some way employed by Wall Street - related firms, whereas I was in a product-oriented company. More balancing would have been nice. Overall a very positive experience.

A real rip off of a school. You think you're matriculating just fine until it's time to graduate. Then they want to milk you for every dime you've got. Extra classes THAT YOU DO NOT NEED out the ass. But you better believe that they NEED you to pay for them. Students pay so much $$ for tuition to be crammed into dorms and deal with broken equipment. Enjoy your college years somewhere else.

Actually visited this university this summer. All around beautiful. The tour guides were really nice and active asking questions. Definitely going on one of my lists of schools I would like to attend as a college freshman.

Let me state unequivocally that Fordham is a complete scam of a university, it basically is a very expensive liberal arts undergraduate college, expensive for no particular reason. The teaching faculty are 50% adjunct, poorly paid which means you are basically getting community college plus. Stem and the sciences are woeful and in complete pretend mode. The university has completely missed the tech boom, actually hiding from it for fear it would cannibalize liberal arts. Fordham is just a story that you have to buy into about how great the Jesuits are, asking questions or connecting the dots to nothingness is very dangerous and not acceptable, scratch the surface of Fordham and one gets light.

Graduate school at Fordham has pretty much been depleted. My own degree an MBA has essentially been wiped out after being a massive degree factory for more than 20 years. It was grossly skimmed while funding other areas of the university like the football team. It is not a pleasant experience having one's degree wiped out, it now has 37 full-time students and about the same for part-time. At one time it had 1800 part time MBA students (one of the largest MBA programs in the world). Now it is a MS degree mill for Chinese students wanting a US work visa, it has 12 one year MS programs on offer with over 80% of the students from China.

To recommend Fordham would be like recommending a mafia skimming casino in Vegas to go gamble in. It is a all about the Jesuits and they will do anything to protect that, it is a narcissistic and pervasive overkill brand that has devastated graduate school. The Jesuits main focus is social justice which is basically free to teach and we can all learn it watching the news. They could care less about careers or degree value!

Fordham is the Catholic Yeshiva of New York, both are stagnant sinking ships. Fordham is 95% net tuition revenue funded which means it cannot build facilities or hire decent faculty, it is a facade needing knocked down. Relying on Lombardi and a few well known grads to fool everyone is what they excel at. A big caveat emptor regarding Fordham, it is just a college experience for white kids drinking in the Bronx and getting grade inflated!

Best four years of my academic career. Fordham will always be my academic home because this is the place I first found out I wanted to serve the academy. Students are always nice; met lovely people. Couldn't have asked for more. Maybe I will come back here for a PhD; you never know.

It saddens me because I loved my college experience here, but this university is corrupt and runs a fake facade of being "Jesuit". My husband and I worked for them in 2014 and were never paid, finally giving up after a year of calling and being given the runaround. We will never be donating to our alma mater. I also have been trying to track down lost loan refund checks for months and the financial aid office always cuts me off and transfers me several times until someone finally promises a "call back tomorrow"I then wait to follow up again weeks later for the same thing to happen. Sadly, though my education was awesome and I am glad I was able to meet my husband and so many great friends here, I have a permanently tarnished view of this school. I warn any prospective students to stay far away.

Wasn't allowed through the gate because the university is "private". That concept is foreign to me. There was no sign saying that, someone had paid a man to stand there and not let anyone in.

Best 4 years of my life. The area surrounding is a bit sketchy at night, but campus itself is very safe. The combination of academics with a focus on the Jesuit ideals, along with the rush of NYC and internship opportunities, this is a wonderful place.
