Absolutely a wonderful experience. Much bigger than you think. Roughly 60 sites. Looks like no matter what size you have (BIG 5er to the smallest tent) they can accoomidat you.

The owners were very nice. There was a mix up in the discount price. Online with the discount club, it is advertised at $28 without and $14 with. The prices were actually $33 and $16.50 per night. That was not a problem but the online price needs to be updated. Also online, it list no restrictions on discounts other than the normal holidays and weekends but I was told it was for one night only. The owner did grant my 2 night stay at their discount. The grounds were very well kept and clean. There's a shelter for picnics and a playground. The pool was also well maintained. I would stay here again if I'm in the area.

Our family had been doing some offroading at Lake Houser Adventures nearby on a Saturday and needed a place to camp overnight. We called Foothills Family Campground to check availability and the host was amazing! We were looking for 2 sites side by side with water and electric: 1 to park a truck and utility trailer with ATVs, and a 2nd site to park a truck and a toy hauler. He was more than willing to accommodate us and had 3 sites side by side in a nice secluded spot. We were allowed to use all three sites although we only needed 2 of them due to the large spacing of the sites. The host lead us to the sites and waited to make sure that we would have the space we needed. This place is amazing and offers a decent amount of privacy on each of the sites. The campground is very well maintained and we would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed in the cabin.. lot of $ for what's there. We have stayed in LOTS NICER cabins in better locations for the same price. The mattress on the double bed was HARD as a rock. No tv. And we arrived just after check in time, 2pm. To which we had to wait for them to clean the cabin before we could go in. So we decided too go check out the fishing pond.. omg it's a drainage ditch! Or that's what it looked like and their swimming pool was bigger. The owner did give us firewood to make up for the wait. But we won't be going back.. unless we had a camper! It was ok is all I can say.
