When traveling, we love to stop at Dennys. Well, this location in Ocala was fantastic. Great food and very friendly staff. Tonya was our waitress. She was personable and charming. The food came out hot and it was very good. Our own Grand Slam with gluten free items. Thanks again Ocala Denny's on SW Silver Springs Road. We will be back.

Our family had the Ruddest most Angry waitress who seemed to blame the chef the other servers blamed the crappy job. Which I bet a lot would be happy to have. We had dirty tables around us the whole time!

So Nickii! Is NOT THE SERVER YOU WANT TO HAVE WAITING ON YOU!

Food was very good. However, the service was horrendous!! Staff lacked energy to do anything. Multiple tables empty but no one was being seated. Staff needs training on efficiency. Table turnover would multiply and customer satisfaction would increase.

On Saturday, November 11th, Veteran's Day, I met a group of childhood friends for breakfast at Denny's in Palm Coast, Florida. We are all in our 70's, retired, and Viet-Nam era Veterans. We have a tradition of getting together on Veteran's Day, breakfasting with each other, and then the Army takes on the Navy at the golf course. Imagine our surprise on arrival at the restaurant, seeing a hand written sign saying we honored veterans yesterday, not today, Veterans Day. I didn't know whether it was a "got cha" or a slap in the face. To a man we have decided to never enter a Denny's again. This makes me sad because I really enjoyed our local restaurant. None of us are just looking for a free meal, but companies that honor us are appreciated. The servers always make out because since our meal is compted, we over tip. I was told that this was corporate policy, and had nothing to do with franchise owners. Corporate policy or not, Denny's will lose in the long run. I have not finished writing about this.

Spent 27 years in uniform; was told they only give a military discount on Mondays. I don't remember telling anyone I'd only protect them from the bad guys on Mondays only!

Poor Service. Gluten free muffins were moldy, stale, and looked like they had been picked at. Sandwich missing bacon. 45 minute wait for food. Are Denny fans until now. We are gluten free and have had many excellent meals until now. Easy menu for gf. Restaurant located in Ohio. I-71 at the Jeffersonville truck stop. Our usual fav is I-71 at Sunbury. Route 36/37. Of course we had hungry grandchildren with us!!!

Today, I visited a Denny's location in Houston, Texas. I was not pleased with the service or the food. When I arrived, there was no one up front to man the register. I have been up there for 4 or 5 minutes and then a family came in to be seated and a man came up to pay. A few minutes later, someone finally came up to the register to get my to-go order. There was one order waiting there but it had no ticket with it, so the woman did not know if it was mine. She left to go find the ticket and returned without one. She grabbed the bag and told me what was in it. It was missing my fruit that I had ordered. She goes to get the fruit and comes back and hands me the bag. I still did not have my milks that I had ordered. She went to go make those and someone else showed up and apparently they were sitting the the counter the entire time. While they were off looking for the milk, I checked my bag and they did not have half of the condiments I asked for. When I told them, the woman said "I put them in the bag on the side." I knew she did not because I checked my bag. She still proceeded to come look in the bag before she headed off to go get what she missed.

The man standing behind me, waiting to pay said that he had to send back his grilled cheese because when it came out it was cold and it took them several minutes to seat the people waiting behind us.

After I left to go back to my hotel, I started to take the food out of the bag. There was no silverware to be found. I had to get creative on how to spread my jelly without getting it all over me. My biscuit and bacon tasted like they had been cooked in a microwave. Both were cold when I went to eat them. I was only six minutes from my hotel. They should not have been cold. The fries were cold as well. The salad I had, did not look very fresh. I did not eat it.

The only good thing I have to say was that the fruit was good and cold and my milks were cold as well.

This review is directed towards the Denny's corporate and not the individual locations, at least until the last part. To start out with, I don't like breakfast at all but like to eat at that time of day and thank you for having a open menu. In the last month or so I have visited two different locations and had good experiences. I like the fact that the menu changes offering a variety of new things unlike other large food chains. If I were to offer any constructive criticism it would be to make a practice of a salad before the entree and offer seasonal fruit cup as an option on the sides menu. Also, kind of would be cool to bring back the little jukeboxes on the tables, but I think your franchisees would disagree so the eat and go thing would be into play to make room for the next customer opening up the restaurant to not look busy but just an idea. Another idea is to maybe use small local products such as BBQ sauce or a local specialty that are not in direct competition in the Denny's truck stops to show some kind of culture of the area helping out tourism for the surrounding communities.
Examples would be green chile in New Mexico, honeydew/cantaloupe ice cream and Tex-Mex cilantro near the Mexico boarder states, and Sonora hot dogs of Arizona, been a over the world and missed out a bunch due to military shielding the local vendors not liking it.
Now for the last part, I ordered a medium rare steak from the Los Lunas, NM location and didn't get what I ordered on 6-20-17. Instead a perfect medium rare steak cooked by what I consider a chief named "Benny". Double two snaps up on this visit and my expectations were also exceeded by the wait staff as well. Our waitress was Alyssa and was impressed with the service. Ordered a steak with broccoli and mash potatoes. Once again more options which I like, brown or white gravy or cheese. Again asked for steak sauce and was asked to choose from two major brands, again more options all at no additional cost, great job corporate Denny's.

Went to breakfast and was only ones in waiting area was told it would be a 10 min wait. There were numerous empty tables don't know why we can't be seated at the empty table and at least give us our drinks. This seems to be the way it is every time we go there. We left after waiting 5 min. And went to another restaurant. Will not take any more chances here. Lost our business.

I was a regular customer to the Denny's on Wade Hampton in Greenville. this is now an awful place. the service is terrible the food is not much better. there is a manager(maybe) Skip who is so unprofessional. he has his shirt tail hanging out and unshaven. They never answer the phones. I also saw roaches on the walls as I was eating. what a disgrace. I am really disappointed with this restaurant and will be calling the health dept. not even worth 1 star.

I had a nice breakfast by myself at the counter at Denny's on Central in Chino, CA this morning. I am 70 years old. When I presented my bill of
$11.28 to "Manager Sunny" and asked for my old person discount- assured her I have AARP and AAA membership cards but NOT with me
she said "OH Well- no discount".
The $1 won't break me but cost Denny's good will and that Denny's a customer forever. Forever isn't what it used be but could amount to
    several dollars in lost revenue.
