Texas run grocery store, price's are definitely not what they advertise, until you check out at register where they attack on 10%? Just be aware other than that pleasant place to shop
I really like this store. Not to crowded, good variety of products and nice employees.
Great prices. Best hamburger meat in town. Usually has fresh Mexican candy & Snacks
Nice people well stocked found everything I needed.good jobnot like Walmart
I shopped here the other night for the first time on a Thursday night it's a very clean store your stalker's do an unbelievable job it's nice and full and the facing was impeccable Hugo night crew
A great place to shop. Prices are great. The only downside was at the check out. Wasn't expecting a 10% up charge on my entire purchase. I had my own bags both times that I went.
Really cheap grocery store. Bought a pack of turkey lunchmeat for 87c . great prices for people on a budget
Its ok but they could rilly need some more hot chips candies and much more good stuff
It's relatively easy to find everything and everything is relatively cheap too. They carry pretty much everything a grocery store needs and they even carry some things that are hard to find somewhere else like this awesome ginger beer that tastes like magic
Great place for groceries with very competitive price. They add 10% on total during checkout. Recommended for mostly groceries and vegetables.
Use a shopping list at Food King for best savings. Truth is, many items are priced equal or higher than other grocery stores. "Cost plus 10%" What is the "cost," anyway? It's the store's "cost of sale." Food King adds overhead costs to their pricing, constantly switching prices. Still, locals love this place. Cost Plus is light on organics but has excellent meat and unadvertised specials. Inexpensive brands like Shure-Fine appear to have more sugar and more sodium than other brands.
* Look out for Expired Dates on products, like yogurt.
To save money: have a list of what you need and pay close attention to the store's pricing - don't forget to add that extra 10%.
This rating is for K-mart.
Food King is Great, 5 Star on service!!!
Waited in line for literally 30 minutes, other lines flowing but no management to get the inexperienced cashier in our line some help.
K-mart must look hard for the most inept management personnel to hire in Santa Fe New Mexico. Too bad, was a good store once upon a time.
One star cause Yelp won't allow zero stars.
The service is usually fast and friendly. The groceries there are amazingly priced
Great store. Friendly staff. Beautiful remodel done.
Perhaps the cheapest groceries available in Santa Fe city, now. I appreciate having a Food King in my town. Great prices and good selection. Convenient hours, too.
The new Food King in Santa Fe has a much improved layout than the previous store. But the ridiculous new feature on every item: "Cost plus 10%" is obviously not true, is misleading, makes it very difficult for some people to calculate the real cost of an item, and has convinced me to stop shopping at Food King, which otherwise would be my favorite grocery store in Santa Fe.
Buyer Beware: "Cost plus 10%" .Sounds good, right? Truth is, many items are priced higher than other grocery stores. What is the "cost," anyway? Food King is constantly switching prices keeping many shoppers guessing - and paying more. Consequently, customers never really save much. Cheap, inferior brands like Shure-Fine add to the misery of more sugar and more sodium. Expired dates on products also short-change customers. To save money: use a shopping list at Cost Plus, avoid the bad brands and pay close attention to the store's pricing smoke and mirrors.
