Had a great time with Captain Nick just cruising around and doing a little fishing and snorkeling (4 hour trip). We came across some dolphins who decided to surf in our wake. They were so close you could almost touch them! It was awesome. Great experience for the kids.

My son and I fished with Capt. Mark for 3 days. Everything from the tackle used to the boat and hospitality was first class. I would recommend FKFF to anyone thinking of a fishing vacation in the Fl Keys.

My wife and I visited Islamorada and the Keys for our 10 year anniversary. Our trip was highlighted by our day on the water with Florida Keys Fun Fishing and Cpt. Nick. We had originally booked an offshore trip, but due to weather we were forced to a backcountry trip - which turned out to be a great change of plans! Cpt. Nick had us (well mainly my wife) into fish all day. She caught some snappers right off of the bat, and had a huge barracuda on the line at one point, but couldn't land it. Shortly thereafter we hit up a nice sea trout area where she snagged a trout and a couple of lady fish. I finally got on the board with a blue fish there. Later on - the highlight of our trip - we got into a school of hungry jacks, just stirring up the water. It was crazy! I was able to land one of them with a fly rod after a nice little fight. The fish took me all the way to the backing which doesn't happen often. We were so thrilled at the end of our trip.

My hat is off to FKFF, and most of all to Cpt. Nick. He was a great Captain and guide. We were very impressed with his professionalism, and his background. You can tell he certainly loves what he does. I would recommend Captain Nick to anyone looking for a good day on the water - beginners and veterans.

Great Adventures! This was my first time fishing with Mark and I had a blast. His knowledge of the area and where to fish was incredible. No matter where we went, we caught fish. I was told that tarpon are hard to come by, but we caught each time we went fishing for them. Mark's ability to teach this blithering novice how to fish was very much appreciated. I will surely be returning to islemorada and using his company to fish again! well done!

My husband and I tried back country fishing, and it was a BLAST! The boat was clean and spacious.

We had Capt Bill, he was so nice and such a good time! I haven't really ever been salt water fishing and I'm not shy about asking a million questions and he was SO helpful and patient. He didn't make me feel silly for not knowing pretty much anything.

We caught Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, Sea Trout, And 4 sharks. In addition he showed us a cool key that you can only reach by boat. And told us all about the areas and wildlife in them.

We finished the day with a nice Rum and Coke at the Tiki Bar complete with sunset. He also cleaned, filleted, and iced the fish we kept!

I have never had a better time in my life. I can't say enough about Mark Johnson, if you want to have fun and catch all day, book with him.

We took a night tarpon trip with Captain Andy Downs and had a great time. Even though we didn't get hooked up with a tarpon, we had our fair share of action.. tarpon harassed our mullet all night, we also witnessed several free jumps, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. We certainly had an awesome time and will visit again.

Special thanks to Anna of Bamboo Charters for setting us up with Florida Keys Fun Fishing.

I've fished with Mark Johnson several times in recent years and have always found him to be knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. He gave myself and my kids lessons on what to do and what to look for. During our last trip to the Keys, I sent my oldest son out with Mark and he had a great time and caught plenty of fish. I'd highly recommend you give Mark a try if you're ever in Islamorada.
