We stayed at this park so we could visit Providence Canyon State Park ,nearby. It was mid December and this park was beautiful! The campground was the highlight since we did not come to fish.

The campground comfort station was an old building that was most likely made in the 60s or so. That being said, this was the CLEANEST COMFORT STATION I have ever seen at ANY Ga park, and most likely, any other state's park too. They clearly attend to them well and often! Great job if that is you!

The campground was very nice and the sites were nicely spaced apart. They had several pull-through sites. We enjoyed the abuncance of squirrel activity in the mornings.

Seems like they have a nice event center that could be rented and had a large field adjacent to the campground for sports or bocce etc.

Very highly recommend this campground to all.

Maybe the best state park campground I've been to! Laundry, mini golf, fishing, boating, and cabins. Very clean, and a super friendly staff! And less than ten minutes from Providence canyon state park.

Loved the state park. We are planning a trip back, and stay in one of the cottages.

Nice getaway for a weekend or a week. Park offers campground with full hookups, efficiencies and cottages for accommodations, beautiful marina, clubhouse and shelters for family/group events, and an interpretive center with natural and historical exhibits. Rental boats and bicycles available, as well playgrounds, miniature golf and hiking trail. Park is just 8 miles from Providence Canyon State Park.

Pleasant atmosphere, quiet and relaxing, extremely clean, friendly staff, pretty good size area with flat even spaces for your Recreational vehicle that are spacious and not ontop of one another. The areas to fish are acceptional with a secret spot just for the campers. We love visiting this little piece of nature.

They have nice clean facilities (cleaned twice a day!). One of the few camping places where I felt comfortable using the laundry and bathrooms. Well maintained location with good accessibility to fishing. On the more expensive side for those reasons. Would be 5 stars if they maintained the Loop Trail, it looked like the loop used to be really nice but it is overgrown and just and out and back now.
