The waitress Jess was really nice and responsive. The food was good. We ordered Mediterranean veggie wrap with spinach tortilla and Hot Thai pot (noodle soup).

Wonderful daily lunch and dinner specials. The sautée chefs are masters of their trades. As is the rest of the kitchen staff. The front of the house is very friendly, efficient, and intelligent. Take out orders are fast and delicious still beautifully plated/boxed. All soups, cheeses, and almost every other menu item is made fresh daily. Tons of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The staff is highly sensitive to any allergies and takes precautions to ensure that no allergic food touches the order. Great prices. Awesome Sunday brunch.

My family loves this place. The food is fantastic and the service is very good. It can get pretty busy and it is a little cramped. However it is also super charming. Highly recommend! Save room for the bananas foster cheesecake.

Wonderfully inventive food, served by gracious ladies in a homey setting. Oh, did I mention the food was the best we had while visiting Charleston and their prices can't be beat?

Went there on a whim and walked a while to get there. We waited in the cool for about 20. Not much space for a stroller but everyone was absolutely delighted with their sandwiches. Sandwiches don't come with sides but a whole sandwich was more than enough. Definitely recommended!

Always enjoy our experience at Five Loaves, and really appreciate the kind folks that work there. The food is affordable and always delicious. Our last visit we were being waited on by Melanie, and she made an evening with friends a great experience for all. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, as well as accommodating to our dietary requests. Wish more restaurants were this consistently great! Thanks Melanie and the rest of the Five Loaves staff!

The service is always great. I am gluten sensitive and they have many many options, even soup. They have vegan and vegetarian options, and regular delicious creative meals. We took family from out of town here for brunch. It was perfect.
The only issue could be parking. They have a small lot across the street, but it fills up fast.

Tasty lunch and dinner in a casual atmosphere. They are known for their wines, gluten free options, soups, sandwiches, and daily specials. Their quick service and laid back approach make for a quick lunch even if you need to get back to work. This is a great place for 2-6 people, but you should call ahead with a larger group.

If you want good, fresh food, this is the place for you. Everything I've ever had here is delicious, and there are so many lighter options that you can eat semi-healthy and still thoroughly enjoy your meal. I especially like the mushroom burger because it's not just a mushroom cap like most places; they chop it up and make a patty. So much easier to eat and so much more flavor.

Fresh, delicious soups salads & sandwiches. Really good flavor combinations at reasonable prices. You can order half of anything to make up your own sandwich/ salad or soup combos. We have been here for lunch, dinner & brunch. A winner every time!

Great food in a casual setting. Kale Caesar Salad was delightful as was the salmon. Very attentive and friendly service.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the wine glass. Spending $9 to have wine served in a small juice glass removes some of the charm and enhances the meal less.
