Won't be going back.
Waitress did not like her job.
Food not hot.
Vacuuming while we ate.
No dessert offered, basically here's your check, get out.
We arrived over an hour before closing. There was one other couple dining. We left at 4 minutes past closing.
Food was generously portioned and hot, service was excellent. Price was what I would expect to pay for good seafood and quality cuts of rib eye.
Service was excellent. The food portions on some plates are generous and on other higher dishes less portioned. The most expensive shrimp item had 8 stuffed shrimp for $20. Plate full of baked scallops at $16 but not fresh, seas best. Best to Cook at home.
I had shrimp, fried..very goodhusband had grilled snapper, he said was goodbaked potato good.house salad too small.hush puppies cold. Overall a good dinner. Will come back.
Home Cooking and Friendly Service!
This was the main place that was open during hurricane Irma. The servers were very friendly and patient with our crew. We ate breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. All of our meals were delicious.
For those visiting with kids, they have a little area where they can play and read books.
The Fish House was very clean and had good service, however, the fried Seafood Platter we were served was barely warm at best and had no flavor. The batter was moist, and fell off the chewy scallops, the fish, shrimp and oysters were the same. We both tried a bite of the crabcake and could not swallow it. (It left a bad taste in our mouths for hours). We asked if we could trade it in because something was wrong with it and they gave us some shrimp in exchange that we left on our plates along with over half the meal we left behind. We asked for our check ($31.57) left a good tip for the waitress who was nice) for the worst meal I ever had in my entire 64+ years of living. Tried to contact the restaurant numerous times to pass this on to management but only got a recording which is why I am writing this bad review.
Great place to drop the kids off at the pool, if you know what I mean. The wife and I always stop by every Earth day to do so, in commemoration of all those who sacrificed their lives picking up the plastic bags on the side of the highway.
Great food, excellent customer service and environment.
Low price huge portions great atmosphere.
It was AWEFUL! The seafood tasted really fishy, like it didn't have no flavor. The only thing I tasted was straight ocean. I will NEVER eat here again. People were really nice though, and service was great. They didn't have many drink options, sodas were canned.
It is a good place to eat. The locals like it. One thing I like is it isn't overly touristy.
We went around 4:30 Friday evening. Place was not crowded to our surprise. It's exactly what I expected inside , Old florida seafood restaurant, like I remember from childhood. The wife ordered a mango margarita and said that it was on of the best that she's had. That was a good start! She started with steamed crab claws and I had a cup of chowder. Both came out quickly and were very good! I also ordered a half pound of steamed shrimp. They were large, tasty, and fell out of the shells. Kudos to the kitchen! Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our dinner very much! Now, we're going for the Saturday breakfast as recommended by locals.
