Absolutely loved my first experience here! Definitely will be returning. Sally and Gary (owners) are some of the nicest people and Jodi (my hairdresser) absolutely nailed the look and feel of the trim and style I was wanting for this Summer without much direction from me! She is one of the first stylist to get my bangs and part to go the way I wanted it too. They are a no tip salon and so it is convenient that the shampoo, trim n style was all built into one price (I would have definitely been happy about tipping Jodi though if they would have taken it because it is well deserved). All the staff seems sweet and friendly and it is a great and welcoming atmosphere. Five stars and then some!!!

Awesome! So happy. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and I do not straighten it. I want to wear it curly and it's been impossible finding a stylist in this area who not only knows how to correctly cut curly hair but also how to take care of it. Jackie did a terrific job on my hair. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair to look and she cut it perfectly. I have found my new stylist.

I often visit the Bloomington area from Chicago and as I was job interviewing, a friend suggested I could use a different coloring and cut and she recommended First Editions. With only a two day window, I agreed and First Editions immediately scheduled me in within that time constraint. Without any direction except, "Do something with it" my stylist did a phenomenal job--loved it as did all my colleagues. First Editions is a classy salon--one that is, to me, with the two hour drive every six-eight weeks. In all my travels, I have to say, this salon is truly First Class in every way!
