I don't know how people exaggerate reviews so much but Firdous is arguably your best option in North Market. The owners are very friendly and accommodating to special requests and their food is pretty tasty for fast food. The staff and service is underwhelming unless you talk directly to someone who cares like the owners.

Decent value, decent food. Good bet overall.

Excellent Mediterranean food, possibly the best food in the north market. I've eaten here several times now, they have alot to offer, Ive NEVER been disappointed. Try the morrocan chicken.

The staff were super friendly and that baked salmon is the best I ever had in my life. That spicy rice and greek salad that comes with the salmon, omgit's unbelievably amazing. My girlfriend kept talking about it and finally took me for lunch.BEST DECISION EVER!! I can't wait to go back!!

This restaurant is tucked away in the farmers market, and from the outside appears to be unassuming. However, looks can be deceiving. This place offers affordable, but delicious Mediterranean food. The meat dishes are halal (for those whom it may apply for: verified verbally by the staff). I ordered a gyro salad over a fried pita bowl, which was excellent. I am traveling from Baltimore and can't think of s comparable dish around there. The meat was seasoned well and the crunchy/crispy pita bowl shell was super satisfying. Seating was outside of the market and seats were taken pretty quickly during lunch time. I would definitely recommend this place, it is awesome.
