I think this is the worst insurance agent and company I have ever dealt with. They gave us a good rate on car and home to carry our insurance with them. However, with no accidents and no claims our insurance has doubled. I have friends that use Farmer's with a different agent and pay far less on their auto with more expensive cars then we do. It makes absolutely no sense at all. When I have asked our agent and the district agent about this, the answer is that is just the way it is. It is incredibley time consuming to change your home and auto so I have put up with this for far too long. After I received a call from them asking me if I was happy, it has prompted me to make switching a top priority! I also feel that I should warn people before they fall in the same trap. I think they are incredibly unethical and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
