Everything was great about this cabin/camping ground. The place was well maintained. Great staffs. Location is right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I would recommend this place for anyone.

Wonderful place to camp! The bathrooms were the best we encountered on our cross-country trip. The owners were also very friendly!

Pros: Beautiful scenery. Free WiFi. Walking trails. Very well maintained. The owners live on-site, they are super helpful and friendly. The motel rooms are a pretty awesome option if you need a place to stay.
Con: The sites are on the small side, but are sufficient for your camping needs.
Overall a good experience.

The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. It was so nice and clean with helpful very accommodating owners. We can't wait until we can go back for another visit.

My family and I were lucky enough to find this gem, and have stayed on two separate occasions. Once in a cabin, the other in the motel- both experiences were fantastic. Super clean, comfortable and accommodating, with amazing views as well! The owners are very nice and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here.

This is my official stop on the way to Eastern North Carolina. The folks here are very attentive and they go out of there way to make you feel welcome.
The bathhouse is best that I've ever seen and I've seen my fair share of bathhouses. It has recently been renovated and is very clean. When I first walked it I felt like I was home. Yep. It's that good good. There are also very conveniently-located wash basins for washing dishes, ect. There is even a sponge and soup for your convenience.
Need firewood? They will deliver it to you. I've never had firewood delivered to me. :)
For the folks out there that want to bring their own wood. Don't. There are some very specific rules, in VA, about transporting wood across county lines due insect infestation that heavily impacting the trees in the area.
The internet connection is pretty decent with respect to the rural area. I got about 3.5 Megs down.

Looking for a gem? Stop at mile marker 202 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Quaint motel rooms, cozy cabins and nice RV sights. A beautiful place. I come back again and again. You can purchase firewood for a campfire, hike the wooded trails, watch the beautiful sun set, even schedule a masseuse to come to you! Owners Dave and Denise are hands on, hard working, amazing people who take great pride in their property. You won't be sorry you stopped and stayed here.

A little slice of heaven on the Blue Ridge Parkway! The nice folks at the nearby KOA were sold out and recommended that I give these folks a call. I was able to rent an adorable little cabin for $58. What a deal! Slept like a princess and I'm trying to figure out if my schedule will allow me spend a second night!!!

Great views, quiet and very clean. Looks very well maintained. We stayed in our RV but the cabins and hotel look very nice. The hiking trails were very nice.

The best time we had! So peaceful! So clean! Owners were so awesome! Loved the Mystic flame packs for our fire! We can't wait to go back! Our favorite place! Loved our cabin!!!💖

Deb and i stayed in the motel 4 days. This is an awesome place to relax. It was so nice that I did not care if I went home or not. David and Denise are great. The rooms are super clean. The bed we had could use a new mattress but I have slept in rooms that cost a lot more and the beds were no better. If I am ever that way again I will definitely stay at Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground.

GREAT CAMPGROUND! Spent a month last year on site #2.
Wonderful place to refresh the soul, relax and enjoy the fresh air of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Denise and Dave are excellent hosts. Their love of their campground shows in everything they do. From the moment you check in you feel welcomed.
This year, I stayed in site #13 (my new favorite!). One night I was building a fire and having a time of it as the wood was wet.next thing I know here comes Dave with a torch to help me start the fire!
The sites and grounds are neat and clean. Wonderful trails to hike and the Blue Ridge Parkway is but a few steps from your door.
Great prices on the firewood (you get a milk crate full)! There are even designated fire rings at each site and a picnic table.
If you are coming to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I highly recommend this campground! You will NOT be disappointed!response / report this review -

The owners obviously have a passion for making the lodging experience of others the best it can be. From desk service to daily cabin linen service,,, to the cleanest rest rooms a campground can offer. The only problem is that Google's rating system doesn't have enough stars to give an appropriate rating. Thanks David and Denise for making us feel welcome,,, and for the well thought layout of your parcel,,,, the sunsets were amazing. I give this place all the stars that the beautiful Virginia night sky had to offer! No doubt we will choose Fancy Gap Campground for future lodging!
