My wife and I went on a date here and love it! She went to school in the area so she we very familiar with it. There are two waterfalls to view and plenty of space to walk. There is also a walking bridge. It looks like couples like to get married here and there are occasionally events held here. If you want some fresh air, this is great. There are also two coffee shops, a bistro, and some other shops right by it. All within easy walking distance.

Hands down one of the best downtown attractions in the nation. There's plenty of space for kids to play, places to take your animals on a nice walk, theatre in the summertime, and picnic areas. You'll often find local musicians and performers entertaining in the circle, and there are plenty of amazing restaurants and shops within just a few blocks. If you are coming to or through Greenville, you really should check it out. The suspension bridge is an awesome piece of architecture, and the falls are gorgeous.

This has got to be the best park I've ever visited. It's centralized in the middle of downtown with the Reedy River running right through it. The quad waterfalls are a big plus for me! Fantastic place to hang out and enjoy nature surrounded by great new & old school architecture!!!

This is one of the most Beautiful places & cities I have ever been. So many places to eat and hang out by the water. The suspension bridge is spectacular, especially at night. The whole area has so much sight seeing to do and shops, very walkable. There are some gorgeous places to stay right along The Reedy, and it's a great place for morning walks or runs. I highly recommend visiting this area. Ps: great a freak shake (milkshake) & burger at Grill Marks.

This is a wonderful walk along the river and falls, and I recommend it to all visitors as well as those who live here. Great gardens weave their way along the riverbanks and buildings, with benches along the way for rest and contemplation. The city did a wonderful job in blending the old with the new.
It's a "must see", and should be recommended as an example for all older cities trying to reinvent themselves.

Since our mountain visit this Fall included an emphasis on viewing great area falls, we were so happy to be taken here by area friends. The weather enhanced the visit and photo session. There was a good rain the day before and the fall's flow was tremendous. And although we were not there to propose or support a proposal, we became part of sharing in one (see photo). Make this a priority location if you can, if it's only a once in a lifetime occasion. And don't overlook the historical significance of the location or how the city has incorporated this spot into the downtown attractions.

A lovely park with beautiful views, plenty of space and a fair amount of seating. Great place to take dogs or other pets for walks and a great romantic spot. Also a perfect park to walk or jog through. Lots of open spaces for doing yoga or meditation and plenty of beautiful views of the park waterfall and river.

Such an amazing place. Gorgeous scenery and wasn't too crowded. Great place to purpose or have a romantic dinner. There's many choices around to do so, even great spots to picnic.

Live animals are all around. This place is very connected to nature, with the benefits of modern shopping.

This is a very beautiful park. A river runs through it with water that cascades over boulders. There is a bridge that crosses the river with a great view. Many people brought their dogs. Paved walk ways pass throughout the park. There is a really interesting tree on the side of a hill with its roots exposed that is a great photo op.

Beautiful park with great scenery. Place of open spots to either just lounging around or set up a picnic. On the suspension bridge is the good spot that overlooks the park and the calm flowing waterfall. There also of plenty restaurants close by if you get hungry.

My favorite place to visit in Greenville. The park and the bridge are incredibly photogenic. There's usually peddlers and street performers on the weekends. There's an older gentleman that plays his guitar each night in the roundabout before you traverse the bridge. He plays for tips and is a treat to listen to. A great place to walk around and the Swamp Rabbit trail runs through the park so bikers and hikers have something available to them at the park.

Great place to kill some time and get some fresh air. There are plaques sharing historical information and a ton of great places to take pictures. Runners and walkers will enjoy this area, but it does get congested with sight-seers. If you want to get lunch, chill for drinks, or just grab a quick coffee, there are quite a few places to choose from. Posted signage will keep you from getting lost, or help you find the public restroom. It's a dog-friendly area, too!

What a fantastic place, and to be right in the middle of the city. My gripe is that it is NOT handicapped friendly. You need to take a seedy elevator and get out facing a dark place even in the daytime. The restaurant makes use of the space outside of it's door. But everything else outshines and makes up for that bad experience, each time I try to enjoy the park. Of course the falls are stunning, but so are the gorgeous flowers during the spring and summer months. Great place for family fun. Used to enjoy the ducks until they closed the road to automobile traffic :(

This is a beautiful park (not to be confused with playground, they don't have one there), BUT this is a great place for families and singles alike. The waterfall is impressive. The bridge has a great view. There are bench swings scattered all over the park and plenty of grass area for picnics or running around. "Shakespeare in the Park" is our favorite event held here. By day, it's a great hangout spot for friends and family and by night, it's a romantic and quiet place to sit or stroll with a date. There are several coffee and ice cream shops nearby as well as all the amenities of downtown Greenville. We love that this park connects to Cleveland Park by way of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, we like to bike and walk between the two, there are places to picnic in between and it makes for the perfect weekend outing.
