Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast is decidedly average, but certainly meets expectations. Building is older construction but well kept. Garage is not attached to hotel which would probably suck in cold or wet weather.

Good Hotel. Front desk lady wasnt very friendly because I was not a rewards member. Didn't even ask me if I wanted to become a rewards member. My brother who I was with was a rewards member and was treated great but when she got to me she was not very friendly.

The Fairfield Downtown is a quality hotel.
The prices are always lower than most hotels downtown.
The staff works with you and are eager to help.
Parking is free in the garage next door. It is not connected, but there are condos in the garage so i imagine that cuts down on foot traffic for the residents.
Breakfast is also free, my boys love the D.I.Y. waffle maker. The pool is indoors, salt water and heated.
On Friday and Saturday there are fountains near the boathouse about a football field from the hotel. They are like a mini Bilogio in Vegas. I think in the summer it went off three times from 8pm on.
This hotel is about a mile from old town, it feels more like a bed and breakfast because it's further from the nightlife of old town.
I've stayed at Courtyard on the edge of old town, and it's loud all night regardless of season. I prefer quiet.

Clean. Great amenities including laundry, swimming pool, workout room, and hot breakfast. Pleasant staff who accommodated us by providing an extra bed for our room. Comfortable beds. Close to Wichita State University and downtown venues.

Great location, free garage parking, free WiFi, free breakfast, quiet room despite bordering the elevator shaft, nice staff (even the lady refilling the coffee at the breakfast bar greeted me), clean rooms, comfortable beds. Will absolutely consider this place again the next time I'm in Wichita.

I will give 3 stars for the clean room. Pool was out of commission since that morning. We arrived at 8pm so had some disappointed kids. Got a whole $10 discount for the inconvenience. We would of stayed somewhere else if had been notified the pool was closed and weren't already there and just wanted to be done driving for the day. Ice machine on our floor was out and the one we were using on the floor below ran out. No fridge no microwave. Will not be back.

As I was expecting big things from a rather new/slightly expensive hotel I was slightly disappointed. The service was great, the location was perfect but the room seemed awkward. The bathroom was really nice and had an expensive look. The beds had nice sheets and obviously cleaned. But the TV and TV stand looked like it didn't fit the room, the TV was small and the stand was not tall enough to see over the end of the bed. For some this may seem irrelevant but from someone who travels often this seemed odd. For this I give 3 stars.

Great service and friendly staff. Rooms are cozy, served the purpose well. Just wish their breakfast stayed out a bit longer. Their breakfast was really good though.

Comfortable, clean rooms with great staff service. Slow internet, even on upgraded tier of service. When traveling for work, high speed internet is critical. Ended up tethering my computer to my phone's 4G to get work done.

Our stay began with a hiccup, in that our room was not what we had reserved (and had confirmed via email) just a couple of hours earlier online, and a like room was not currently available. That said, the pair of night staff at the front desk were remarkably friendly and helpful. They apologized profusely for the problem, discounted our stay, and one of them offered to go make up a room for us on the spot - at 11pm. We ended up waiting 10 minutes longer, but were extremely satisfied with the outcome.

Room was clean. Check-in was quick and pleasant. Security appeared to be walking thru the hotel and parking garage. Indoor Pool was nice and warm and area was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Would definitely stay there again. Wish they had a hot tub.

The beds in this hotel are absolutely the best I've ever slept in, and it was really quiet here. Unfortunately there were a lot of things that were a problem. The parking was REALLY inconvenient and confusing. There wasn't a mini fridge in the room, and there wasn't any information on food delivery. I had to get dressed and go down to the front desk for that. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Visiting family and stayed for two nights. Great staff, housekeeping was super friendly and provided all extras we requested super quickly. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Front desk personnel was more than hospitable. I have no complaints at all! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you!
