  I highly recommend Eye Center South in Dothan AL to anyone needing cataract surgery. I recently had cataract surgery done by Dr. Sebastian Heersink. I was treated very well. All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. They explained the process to me thoroughly. My surgery was quick with minimal discomfort. One week after surgery, my vision is 20/20. I'm looking forward to being able to drive without glasses. Overall my experience was very positive!

  Extended wait only because it was my first eye to have surgery and testing had to be done. I was very pleased with the whole aspect of my surgery. Ten stars to the doctor and staff.

  Eye Center South has been treating my family for YEARS! Dr. Marnix Heersink did an AMAZING job with my grandmother! She was very nervous about having surgery on her eyes and Dr. Heersink was able to put her mind at ease! We had a great experience throughout our entire visit, from check-in all the way through to leaving the surgery center. We could never thank all the doctors and staff enough for everything they all have done for us over the years! We highly recommend Dr. Heersink and this clinic to everyone!

  I had cataracts removed from both eyes at Eye Center South and the entire experience was the most positive I have ever had with any medical procedure. I am a Florida resident and made the trip to Dothan expecting my sight to improve after the cataract surgeries. I had no idea my sight had deteriorated to such a poor level until my examination by the skilled staff. I never believed my sight could improve to what it did after the surgeries. After several tests and an exam in a short period of time they were able to perform the first surgery the same day. I experienced
  no discomfort during or after the surgery and after three hours I was experiencing colors and clarity that I had forgotten possible. About a month later I visited the Center again with the same result. Surgery the same day and a full and clear result.
  
  The staff at Eye Center South were so helpful and friendly, efficient and knowledgeable it made both experiences enjoyable. My initial concerns were met with a caring staff that made every moment there comfortable and reassuring.
  Without reservation I would recommend Eye Center South to anyone needing eye care.
