Good service and nice people. The rooms didn't look much like the pictures and the hotel in general felt much older than the pictures led to think. But it was a good stay and I would go again.
The lodge is fairly nice and centrally located in Vail. I really enjoyed to Altitude bar for grabbing happy hour drinks and food while watching football. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was laid back and fun
Rooms were clean, it was just kind of old and the bathroom was tiny. The shower was kind of difficult to operate but they had instructions on the bathroom counter. They had apples, danishes, tea and coffee for breakfast, which was small but it was fine. We were Lucky we got stranded there in the off-season because it was still crazy expensive, even though this was the cheapest hotel in the area. All in all, it was clean and economical for the area, which is what we wanted. The employees were very nice and helpful
Super helpful staff and lovely hotel. We went during the off season and booked a room last minute. They were very accommodating, and willing to help us with anything we needed.
We stayed here with our two dogs, the hotel staff was very very accommodating. They were super friendly and excited to see us. The hotel manager even offered to let our corgi's be front desk dogs while we left to eat dinner!
The rooms were clean and spacious, and they offered recycling which is important to us on the road. The only negative I can think of is my husband said their toilet seats were oddly uncomfortable.
If you are traveling with dogs this is a great dog friendly hotel.
We will definitely stay here again.
Rooms are decent size. They are clean and look nice. Overall room 4.0/5.
Free breakfast is a joke (like super small cheese danish) coffee taste like dirt.
Hot tub should be called warm tub. Outside pool is warmer. Hot tub pad locked after 10pm.
The pillows in the room are rock hard, the mattress are as well.
Overall a good place to stay. Had a great Nepalese and Indian restaurant near lobby. Tasty food. There was a constant construction noise from behind the hotel but it course that wasn't the hotel's fault. The rooms were very clean. For some reason, hotels around Colorado don't have air conditioning even though it does get very hot in the summer.
A nice place to stay in Vail, especially if you're on a budget. Before booking, I had done my research so I knew what I was getting into. The rooms are a little dated, but things were clean and the staff were helpful. I really enjoyed the location of the hotel because I could walk to Vail Village.
Halted for food at their Indian Nepali cusine while driving towards Denver airport. It was good and the quantity was sufficient however less if compared with similar restaurants. Service was good and liked the quite ambience.
Ended up staying here because a bad spring storm closed down the Vail Pass on highway 70. A nice clean lodge with a fun little bar. Would weather out a storm here again.
Overall, the hotel is good. The cleanliness and reception services is good. However, I didn't like the price and the parking. The price is kind of high. The parking is outside, and you will need to remove the snow from your car. The location is not bad.
The lodge is nice. Our room took forever to clean when we arrived. Got in at ten and it wasn't done until 4. Front desk staff wasn't overly friendly but it is a nice cheap place in Vail. Good location.
