Love it! One of the most beautiful and interesting places. If you are interested in birds, fishing and untouched natural surroundings you should check it out. Especially after rain, be sure to bring mosquito repellent as they can be numerous.

Park is nice, long drive through the park east to west, and saw a lot of coastal birds egrets and alike, and alligators obviously. Saw many turtles (prob. 12-15) and even an alligator run over by vehicles unfortunately. Royal Palm and Flamingo were nice locations, definitely need insect repellent during twilight hours. We did not get to see any wild panthers, mostly birds and alligators at Royal Palm trail.

What a wonderful experience! We were able to see an alligator show, hold a small alligator, and take a ride out to an island in the Everglades. The island was mostly planks built up for housing and kitchens similar to what the native Americans would have built. There are more alligators to see on the ride and at the island if you look closely. There is also water and soda for sale in case you need something to drink. With the rails and fencing around the walkways, the location is great for children tourists.

Beautiful wildlife wonderland in the Everglades. The 15 miles can be hiked or biked but is easily enjoyed. You will feel like you have the park all to yourself even though you are among many international visitors and alligators everywhere.

Our visit was awesome! We saw three wild alligators, plus the boat ride was fun, as a bonus. Otter John's show was informative and interesting. Tip: We were told that if you go early in the day, you have a better chance of spotting alligators because that's when they come out to sun themselves.

Nice natural place but if you go summer time need to bring long sleeve shirt. There too many mosquito. Remember that!!

Everglades is an amazing place. Sadly there wasn't much to see since we went in wet season period. We only saw some birds and one gator.
Carmen, our host, did a really good job of keeping things interesting, and was the one who spotted the gator.
We felt bad having spent money on it and not getting to see anything really interesting, but apparently 90% of the money goes to maintaining the everglades.

Great place. However, the rain will pop out of nowhere. So either bring a change of clothes or dress for the occasion. I highly recommend seeing this natural treasure.

Been to Everglades National Park several times over the years. But the greatest time was with the love of my life "Big Red" Shay not because she big! Because she's a tall Goddess with a Big heart!

Had a wonderful time on a Tram Tour. The driver and guide were great. The guide as very knowledgeable. The driver, who also was the wildlife spotter did a great job. Got to see many things, including Alligators, which was our main reason for visiting.

Love this place for camping only during the cooler season otherwise mosquitos are unbearable. Love what the everglades stands for and preserves! nice trails and fun to canoe to island.

Visited Shark River Valley, taking the 2-hour tram tour. Do not miss this one! Reservations needed in winter months 2 to 3 weeks in advance. We were able to get on a tour the same day we visited (the 4 pm tour) without reservations, but it was mid-week in early June when Florida was having record rainfall.

Also enjoyed an air-boat ride by private vendor in Everglades city at western edge of park.

I have only entered this park from the water. It is a remarkable place and well worth visiting. Can be reached by car. Flamingo has great facilities with kayak rentals and food and clean restrooms.
The park itself is unique it all of the US. The back country of the Florida Keys in the Park is wonderfully beautiful part of Florida Bay with small mangrove islands and turtle grass flats. Beautiful to travel across by boat or kayak. Need a good Map and or gps.

A MUST DO is Anhinga Trail at night. After dark the park offers free admission. The trail is close to the entrance. Grab a good flashlight and walk the boardwalk. The gators are extremely active at night and it's an experience you won't forget. Bring bug spray!
