Awful experience. Poor customer service. There is no organization whatsoever. If you print your tickets online you still have to make a line. Staff is not trained to even say good morning. Bunch of Monkeys. Save yourself a couple of bucks and go somewhere else.
About 2 to 2.5hrs total time including the wait time and gator show. We saw few alligators , blue Herron and one nicely posing iguana. Air boat was fun and the guide and captain kept it interesting . Wish we had seen more alligators swimming around. But ok not disappointed. Worth visiting. You will be more thrilled if you somehow get coupons. We used a 20 pct off coupon . Not bad.
We toured with my dad. Tours leave about every 15 minutes. Tour guide "called " the gators. We did see a lot of them, different sizes. We saw different birds, iguanas and landscaping. Didn't get wet on the ride. May want to bring ear plugs. They offer discounts for seniors. It was around $100 for 3 adults.
Amazing place with great people. Completely worth the price for the tour. The guides are great and really get you up close and personal. The show is informative and funny. It was just amazing!
Capt Mike was awesome, and we enjoyed the air boat ride! The gator show was very informative and was great to see Paul from the TV show still doing the shows. Very funny, down to earth and was nice enough to let us get a pic of him with the kids!
The air boat was fun and informative. Prices are way above norm for food and drinks. They will nickel and dime you to death. Why not one price for everything. They charge $10 per picture if you want a keepsake. $10 to hold a baby alligator. The animals in pens just seemed sad. Their pens were clean and there was food and water but they were too small. The "Gator Boys" alligator show was just okay. I would much rather swimming in the wild vs them being put in a small area and being used as props.
We had a great time. We rode a boat with Captain Chaos, he was a lot of fun. Good value for money. We saw 4 iguanas and 6 alligators.
We had a great time. We got to see 7 gators on our air boat ride. The show was shorter then I expected but we still had fun. Kids loved it.
We had a great time out on the boat, got to see some birds and three different gators. The gift shop had some cool things and the picture they give you after the boat ride was really neat. We didn't go to the gator show after, we were strapped for time. Check the grounds for the peacocks, they hang around under the deck.
Had a wonderful time with my son there today. We paid a little extra and got to see and hold an alligator and snake. Also got to meet lavender the skunk and speedy the turtle and 2 piglets. The pictures are great. Danny and Emilio were fantastic!
Didn't get to see the guys from the show. Great show and awesome tour. Could use some better customer service in the gift shop. Overall an awesome experience
I have always wanted to ride a swamp airboat and see a gator in the wild. Got both of those today. Show after was great also, although short. A good day and great excursion after the cruise while we wait for flights.
We visited Holiday Park in August of 2016. We had an amazing experience with Swampy Jay - the best engaging tour guide; you hit the jackpot if you get him! He interacted with us and the gators in the swamp. Great sense of humor; he made sure to circle boat around so everyone had a chance to see the many gators. Very educational and entertaining - great time had by teenagers and adults alike!
I'm going to admit, I had no desire to go here - my travel companion had a bucket list item to do a tour like this. So we went. Let me just say, I never could have expected as much fun as this tour gave.
We spent the extra bit of cash (about $15 each) for the VIP pick up from our hotel. Our driver was amazing and made us truly feel like VIPs. He not only answered our questions about the park, but also about Florida in general!
The boat tour itself was too much fun, Captain Mike had a great sense of humour and kept us laughing. Our boat was shared with a rider who had a translator - he made ample time for the translator to be able to communicate and was absolutely inclusive of everyone. The boat gets up to a good clip, but wasn't as fast as I expected - now given there are about 25 riders in each boat. There is a roof on the boat which provided much needed shade in the hot day.
You get the chance to feed some of the birds, and our captain tried to hand catch a fish. They take lots of time to circle around to show you any gators spotted on the trip, so don't worry - if they are out - you will see them.
The gator show at the end was a bit campy, but it was a good chance to see the animals up close and live - if not sleepy, but you can't control an animal so it was acceptable. There are a lot of opportunities to interact, but each comes with an extra donation.
The concession was slow, but the food was hot and tasty - but pricey. The shop had some good trinkets and take-homes at average prices, and enough variety to find something for any collector.
Considering I didn't want to go in the first place - I'd go again!
If you are on the fence - just go - you'll have a great time!
I wish I could give this 8 stars. I am originally from this area and have been here many times. We visited here on vacation with my family consisting of my wife and my 8 and 3yr old. We could not have had more fun. I do not remember it being so great. The tour guides were fun, and we got to see a lot of wildlife in the hour boat tour.
