Great place to visit with a lot to do to make a full day out of the trip
It's always a good day when there's time to go by Evans Orchard. I love rhe opportunity to help support a family-owned farm. I buy half runner green beans and tomatoes by the bushel to use for canning. Their prices are reasonable and the vegetable are always top quality, clean, and so far they have been bug-free! They have a lot of family functions and activities for the young 'ens. Located so close to Georgetown it's hard to believe they have such a down-to-earth country feel. The staff is always courteous and helpful and act like are truly happy to he there. Oh, they also carry some fantastic fudge (all kinds of flavors including seasonal)! Plenty of parking, plenty of produce, you'll feel like pullin' up a chair to "a it a spell"!
This is a very well run family friendly family run orchard. We have established a family tradition each to come here and get out Halloween pumpkins. It's great to walk through the apple orchard rows and see all the different varieties to choose from.
There is a corn maze, a hay wagon, an enclosed playground with plenty of activities. The owners do a great of job of maintaining the grounds.
It’s a bit of a winding road of a trip to get to the orchard, but I enjoyed my quick visit. They have a variety of apple choices with different jams and butters available for purchase. There is also some cooked food and bakery choices as well with an outdoor play area for kids. I didn’t try the food, but the apples were delicious and the apple cider was amazing. If you go you should definitely get some cider. We went for the gallon and drank it in about two days.
This place is totally worth the drive from Cincinnati! Everyone is always so friendly. I took my daughter to pick apples a few weeks ago. Had a blast, so we decided to come back this past Sunday. The cider and Apple pie is yummy!
Great play area that was free in the late afternoon around 515 til closing at 6. Good pumpkin and food selection. Fair prices
Great place for children up to 12 with a large play area, petting zoo and small train ride. Decorative items, jams, jellies and apple related foods and drinks for purchase. Also has a concession stand.
My college friends and I got the day off for fall break and took a trip here. We picked our own apples, and the prices for that was pretty fair! It was a really great experience and beautiful place!
Great for kids of all ages, plenty to do, reasonably priced, apples are delicious. Their store has really cute decor and shirts and amazing apple cider donuts. We visit throughout their open season, almost always go to their sweet corn festival in the summer and a couple times in the fall. If you can, weekdays are always much less crowded than weekends.
My first time was last Saturday. I can not wait to go again. Awesome place. So many attraction for kids and adults. They also have a petting zoo which was the hit for my 3 year old!!!
Fun for the whole family! We love the variety of fruits you can pick yourself!
If the family is looking for a fun place for the kids to play while Mom and Dad sit and relax in some nice rocking chairs while snacking on some goodies after picking fresh fruit, then this is a place that you should definitely visit. I promise that everyone will be happy you all chose to spend some time on the farm.
Awesome the Evans are extremely nice and friendly there not cranky like the owners of other public orchards the pile of dirt with a pole and rope is genuis GREAT FOOD I LOVE THE BURGER I'd say it can rival Saul Good if they expressed the want to
It's a great place to bring kids and pick up or pick out locally grown/made items. The shop also has a variety of other items and gifts available.
In the fall I love to go to Orchard's with my family and pick fresh fruit and explore their farms. This one is definitely geared towards kids 5 and under but still they had some delicious apples.
