Did an escape room here with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was not too difficult. The staff were friendly and answered our questions. They seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. The atmosphere was really neat too. I liked the way the place was decorated and set up in the lobby. The only things were that we were told we had 3 free hints, and every one thereafter was a 2 minute deduction, and we were given 5 small hints (without any time penalties) without asking. My buddy and I personally would rather fail than use hints, so it was a bit disappointing that we received hints (would have been more disappointing if they deducted time, so I'm glad they didn't). I know that most would probably rather finish the escape room than spend $80+ and not finish, so we're probably the minority, but it would be nice if they at least mentioned they might do this beforehand so we could opt out (we would have failed, for sure, so they were definitely good hints, even though they were minor). Also, the walls appeared to be a bit thin. We heard other people shouting when they got something right. It wasn't consistently, and we have no way of knowing just how loud they were shouting, but it wasn't a one off event of the people shouting. Didn't ruin the visit at all, may brought the immersion down a bit, but not a huge deal. We will definitely come back when we're in town again.
Definitely one of the higher notch snd thought out escape rooms. The interior is steampunk designed and very cool. Waiting is comfortable and there are things to do while waiting such as riddle cards or puzzles. We did the Scooby-Doo room and there were 8 of us total. When we completed it, we each got a rubber bracelet with the name of the place and room we did. The employees (who are awesome), took our photograph too. It was fun, thought out and just the right difficulty as described. Next time we will probably split our group up so there are not as many in one room. It was a little costly, with about $45 per person, but if you enjoy escape rooms it is worth it!
My 2 kids and mother got to experience the Scooby Doo mystery. It definitely got all of our brains working and we got stuck in the last room, on the last puzzle- we were so close to finishing! I love how themed the rooms were and even in the lobby there was plenty of cool things to look at. Our game master, Amanda was very helpful giving us some help when we were going in the right direction, but a bit stuck. My kids had fun and would like to try some of the new rooms they are working on. Definitely recommend for some fun on a hot Florida day.
We had 5 people for 7 Deadly Sins puzzle. We found the puzzle very challenging solving it w 3-4 min left. The rooms didn't include much help on how to unlock the locks. We had a fun time, the game master provided nudges when we got stuck and only used 2 of our 3 clues.
WE LOVE ESCAPOLOGY! It is so fun, safe, and the rooms are just the right amount of challenging. The rooms are designed to make you feel like you have completely traveled to a different world. The staff is so friendly and helpful! Definitely worth it!!
