I wish someone had warned me about this guy. We wasted $750 bucks for him to "find out" something we already told him during our consultation. He was hired to work on a sentence modification for my boyfriend, which would include going downtown, talking to the prosecutor, and trying to work out an agreement (to start). So, after quoting us $500 to get us in the door, he said it would be $750 for "half a day's" work. Instead, he called around & eventually found who he needed to talk to at work release in order to find out what their policy is for transitioning from work release to house arrest. Which we ALREADY told him, had he bothered to stop talking & listen (and we had already expressed serious concerns about the program at that time, thus the need for counsel). When my boyfriend reminded him of what he said he'd do, he said he'd already spent two hours working on this and unless we paid more he wasn't going to do anything else - despite the fact that he never did what we agreed, and he never said anything about 2 hours of work being the limit. So, apparently his rate is $375/hr. We should have run when we stepped foot into that dirty office. He took complete advantage of our desperation.

I was highly satisfied by the legal services we received by Eric Risk. He is an incredible attorney that knows the laws in and out.He is very nice and easy to work with. He will return all calls asap and will defend you with everything he's got. I feel that his heart is in his work and couldn't say enough good things about him and his office.

I called to set up an appointment for a free consultation and was told that it would cost $150.00 dollars for an appointment. This attorney's web page advertisement states consultation is free BUT the receptionist told me something is wrong with the website. She stated that the free consult is only for criminal cases. Was very disappointed and the receptionist acted like I was bothering her by calling. I called the receptionist back again to tell her that the website states FREE consult and that the advertisement has no specifics stated. She seemed annoyed by me calling back and said she would look into the matter. WOW!! Guess the attorney she works for doesn't need my business.
