TL;DR: Long wait times, mixed staff friendliness, unprofessional and unethical behavior.
When I first called to schedule my appointment they were booked for several weeks. Understandable. But then on the day, I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment, finished my paperwork and waited. For an hour and a half. An hour after my scheduled appointment time.
The medical treatment was average in my opinion, but the really bad part of my visit was near the end. One thing I went into specifically to get done, was to have my IPD measured. Pretty simple for a optician to do you'd think but no. You have to buy their incredibly overpriced glasses to get that privilege (look up 'goggles4u' to find inexpensive glasses). Of course I refused to pay their prices and upon checking out, they were completely ready and willing to let me leave without even picking up my glasses prescription for which I was there for. When I reminded them that they hadn't it took 20 minutes for them to finally give it to me. I assume this is because they try to force people to buy their glasses.
In summary, there are other places to go. Ozark and Dothan both have other optometrists which I would recommend trying instead.response / report this review -

My husband and I both have been fortunate enough to have gone here with our Parents when we were younger. Then we both began to use their services as we grew up. It was an easy choice when both our children started having eye trouble. Always friendly, encouraging and make the eye exam an awesome experience. The Staff is always courteous and friendly. Amazed and blessed by all that Dr. Woods and Rick have done to help our family.

My family and I have been patients with Enterprise Optical for several years and we have been very satisfied with the care and professional treatment we have received from the staff and doctor. I would recommend that you stop by and set up an appointment to have your vision needs met with them. They also have been great about working with you in case of emergencies and scheduling appointments. Thanks for the great service you do for us.

I was very dissapointed with my visit to this eye clinic. I chose it because I seen the good reviews online. I took my three year old to get seen, he seen the female doctor there. I was pretty dissapointed with the lack of patience he received by the doctor. She didn't try to make things fun for him and she seemed to have already have her mind made up that he would be uncooperative. I had also taken my 2.5 month old, I had my hads pretty full and the doctor had me help her hold down my son (if she'd have made it fun for him, this may not have been the case) rather than call her tech in to help. Meanwhile I was rocking my infant with my foot to keep him calm while stretching my other armp out to helpmy son cover the corresponding eyes for the exam and keep him from squirming away from the doctor. It looked like I was doing some funky yoga position in the room. It really upset me the way she treated my son with such lack of patience and lack of personality. The office might be ok for an adult but definitely not for a child. The receptionist was really dry and I waited a bit. If I was concerned with customer service I would choose elsewhere.

Dr. Woods cares about her patients. She listened to me and spent a lot of time on me. Rick Woods is probably the best optician in the area. I've been lots of places where I'm unhappy with my glasses when I leave or I feel like I've been over-charged. Not so with Enterprise Optical. He worked with me until my glasses were perfect, and I can go in any time to get them adjusted (for FREE!). The entire staff makes my visits pleasant. I always leave feeling like I've gotten the best health care for my eyes (and my family's eyes) possible. If you're looking for GREAT eye care, go to Dr. Woods at Enterprise Optical!
