It was great! They made sure my hair looked perfect. I went from long hair that was almost to my hips to just above shoulders. They put layers in like I asked but kept them long in case I was nervous about the shortness. My experience was fantastic!

I would give it a zero. I asked for a gel manicure with a design. Didn't get my nails cleaned or even my cuticles cut or soaked, she completely skipped the manicure part and the design I got was nothing like what I asked for AT ALL! And when i got home and really looked at the nails she didnt even paint the whole nail all the sides were bare. Then I asked for a style of hair but with a different color, the dresser just gave me some omber design that made the ends look like they were washed too many times and all the color came out again not what I asked for. I asked them to correct it and her response was oh it didn't look right to me either but I was just going to leave it. I ended up with something I could have gotten from a $10 box of color from walmart. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I strongly recommend you don't either!

I would give it 0 stars if i could. Came here to get a new style for my hair, but left looking like a 2 year old took scissors to it. I'd much rather them tell me that they cant do the style i wanted than for them to cut more than half of my hair off and then tell me that my hair to too straight. My biggest regret is coming to this place. Now im desperately searching for a place to fix the hack job they did, but im terrified it will be as bad as this place.

I have been going to Encore since the very first year it opened! The staff is not only experts but personal. They strive to make sure you are not only happy with your new look but excited to show it off as you walk out the door to go show it off. I have been to Encore for your basic haircut, highlights, color, prom and wedding up dos as well as my updo for my baby shower. I recommend them to all new Rochesterians, current, and any of out of town college students! Encore only the only salon in Rochester to choose.

I see Stephanie. She is amazing with her understanding of hair color, highlighting and when to use these processes. She was able to "fix" the straw effects and damage to my hair from my last stylist who over processed, attached extensions wrong ( Stephanie has removed them and my hair looks as full and long as when they were in!!) and reshaped a style that suits my busy lifestyle. She is an artist as she keeps my hair looking "AMAZING" As told by clients, family and friends!
