I worked for the Wahlstroms 20 years ago. The were driven & dedicated Restaurateurs then, just as they are now. Tom & Elizabeth bust their butts 20 hours a day and they care about you and your experience 100%. It's awesome to see how they've grown as Professionals and Entrepreneurs. The Chop House is absolutely fantastic! You will experience food and drink like never before. Smoked Duck Salad & 54oz Prime Rib was amazing. Highly recommended!

Wonderful food, and wonderful service. The price is a bit High. The meal I had was a smoked ribeye steak on a salt plank. My only complaint was the SALT plank made the steak taste way too salty. I eventually slid the steak off onto my plate and it helped tremendously taking away the salt taste.

A diamond on the banks of Lake Superior. The food quality, service and setting are first class. The wait staff are fully knowledgeable of the meal preparation. A quality dining expedience.

I am giving it one star for the nice view of the Bay while sitting on the patio. The lobster bisque had a horrible fishy taste and no chunks of lobster. The waiter said it was puréed. The prime rib was so tough we could not cut through it with a steak knife. The second prime rib they brought us was just as bad.
Save your time and money and go down the street to the Delft Bistro. Their steak was amazing and you can watch a movie while you eat since it is a renovated theatre.response / report this review -

I want to thank you for the wonderful catered dinners we had yesterday. The food was delicious! The young man who delivered it and set it up was very helpful, the food was hot, ready to serve.
My family loved the food. I will do this again!

The freshest of fresh food in town. Lunches for me are the best. Sit on the patio and have a french dip sandwich made from shaved prime rib!

Wanted a steak for my 50th birthday and walked to downtown Marquette. Walked into this fantastic restaurant and ordered the Hickory Grilled Ribeye served on a Himalayan salt block. I will have to say that I have enjoyed a lot of steaks in my life but this is by far the best ribeye I have ever had. Then I get personalized birthday card from the staff. Great touch, thank you for a great experience!

This place is very nice. Delicious salad for lunch. The bar is a nice entry to the restaurant and there is a balcony overlooking the harbour.

My husband surprised me with a trip to our favorite town. Who knew there was such an undiscovered gem? If you are on the fence about this place, and your looking for a glamorous evening filled with fabulous respectful staff and and a mind blowing menu, then roll the dice on this one! Your taste buds will thank you!
