Very wide variety of tasty food to eat. The nachos and dips tasted fresh and rich. The portion sized are really good. The staff is nice but struggle a little with their English. The prices are very reasonable, great value for your money.

We went for dessert only on our last visit but the food is quite good. Definitely a worthwhile stop for a nice meal with a pleasant decor and a friendly staff.

The food was good although not very spicy. Cocktails were over priced, charging downtown Boston prices. $12-15 for a margarita? Beer prices weren't bad though. Booths weren't very comfortable. I'm average size and could hardly fit between the seat and table. My friend was bigger and couldn't fit. Fortunately, they had a table available and moved us.

We ate here before a concert. Staff was outstanding. Food was good and drinks well mixed. Would eat there again.

Friendly service. Really good house margaritas! My husband enjoyed his enchilada dish. I ordered the Ixtapa fajitas (chicken, shrimp & scallops) which was delicious. Reasonably priced, too. Would very much recommend this place and look forward to repeat visits.

Great service, but very mediocre Mexican food. Had the enchiladas, quesadilla, and burritos. All lacked flavor.

I've only eaten at El Jimador once, and I was disappointed. The food was bland and lacking in flavor. The tortilla chips tasted stale. My crab enchiladas were priced as I'd expect for real crab, and the waitress said they were crab meat, but when I cut into them they were obviously surimi. I haven't been back.

My Dad suggested this when we wanted to take him to lunch. The chips were fresh and warm and the salsa just spicy enough. All our lunch specials were delicious. Based on our experience, I expect every dish is excellent.
