There is a good playground for children. There is also a petting zoo filled with goats, pigs, turkeys, and much more. There is a HUGE shop in a couple barns, not that expensive and the cheese there is all homemade! They have a great meal place. They serve lunch and breakfast and dinner. There are also some rides that you can go onto. Some horse rides, some other rides. If you are allergic to hay, then stay away! The final thing that Edwards apple orchard has is of course Apple picking!

Very beautiful place with plenty to do for the whole family! We enjoyed the kids park area and the fall season here. Lots of great products and yummy foods and of course the restaurant area downstairs was fantastic.

A bit of a drive for us but it's still a must visit. THE BEST apple cider donuts anywhere. Pick your own raspberries is a treat for the whole family. Great selection of apple types and I can still smell the potpourri from the general store. Cant forget the petting zoo for the kiddos. Makes for a fun day.

Classic orchard experience with added suburbanite touches. Great varietal ciders. Great donuts. Stuff for the kids and touch-free animal feeding for the timid. All around worth the drive from the city. Certainly worth the time if you're local.

Always a fun time going to the apple orchard! It needs to be 50º-60º to make it really feel like fall. Snacks are on the lower level, lots of things for kids to do and the shopping area is upstairs. There's an unwritten rule that you have to buy a dozen hot 'n fresh apple cider donuts (in upstairs shop area). Trust me, you won't regret it.

I'm kind of torn. This place has a really cool vibe and is a fun place to spend some time, but the food and items for sale upstairs are just alright. A lot of what they sell seems to be generic stuff with lots of cheap ingredients you wouldn't expect from higher quality items (corn syrup, artificial flavors, lots of preservatives). The apple cider donuts are tasty most days, but the apple pie isn't the best. Come for the atmosphere, but eat before you get there.

This place brings a lot of nostalgia with it, and with nostalgia comes warm and fuzzy views that are usually completely biased. Today, I took my daughter here for the first time. There were tractor rides to go to the apples and pick, but we chose not to go on one. We did ride a pony, however, which I'm confident that I enjoyed more than she did. There were a ton of people literally everywhere, and I think that overwhelmed her. It isn't a good idea to come here hungry since a) the food (and we're talking real food here, not the donuts which will blow your mind) isn't anything to write home about and b) the lines are utterly terrible. She's not old enough to play in the play area that they have that has stationary miniature trains and buses fashioned out of wood for the children to play in. She was able to take a peek at the live animals though and see a chicken, a goat, a pig, and a baby cow. We also placed her among the pumpkins, which were all just as big as she is and that was cute. We didn't buy one though. It was hard to justify buying anything at this place except the donuts (which are better here than anywhere else I have ever tried them, and I'm somewhat of a donut connoisseur) and cider simply because everything here is extraordinarily overpriced, and by the time we got around to going inside of the store to make a purchase, it had already been two hours and baby was getting rather tired. TL;DR: Go for the donuts, but expect everything to be overpriced and the lines to be long.

Very fun place to go. Great for families, despite the crowds that the weekends bring. There are farm animals to see and a play area for children. On the weekends you're able to go to the orchards to pick from trees if you like (on a horse drawn carriage no less), as well as a field for picking berries.

Aside from apples there is food to be had, fresh apple cider donuts to buy, and much, much more. Very much worth at least one trip a year.

Family tradition to come to Edwards. Been doing it for the last 6 years! The cider is the best I have ever had and the baked potato is just so yummy. I have heard rave reviews about the apple donuts but alas, I cannot have eggs and have not had the pleasure of trying though I am sure it is divine. It's such a great place to go with the family. From the music to the hay and pony rides to the actual apple and berry picking, it's always a blast coming here at the start of the Fall season.

Edward's has been a family tradition for me since they opened way back when. It has changed a lot over the years, with a lot improvements and add-on things through the years. But a few of the things have been removed/changed. When I was younger, you use to just get on the trailer, ride out to the fields and pick your apples (FREE OF CHARGE) and eat as many as you want while out. Now you have to pay a few?? It is a little disappointing with all the other things you purchase while you're there. Now we just skip that step and buy a made bag in the store. Moving forward, the apple pie is still as great as the first day I had it when I was a kid. Add the ice cream to that and some cider or hot cider (depending on the weather) and it's a complete, AWESOME!!!! dessert. you must have the apple pie.. In the store you will find everything from great food items like soups and jams and sauces to sweater, candles, and decorative home items. There is something for everyone.

This is an awesome family experience with lots of stuff to do. I would have given 5 stars but my reservation comes from the price gouging on everything they sell, but that is just the tourism business. Obviously you have to try apple cider donuts!!

A great place and has become an annual trek in the fall. They have alot to offer. A huge barn with many food items like spreads, jams, salsas etcwith tasting stations for many. They have many varieties of fudge and apples with tasting stations. But the best is the Apple Cider donuts, they are the BEST anywhere and definitely worth the trip. They also have other food items like fresh apple cider and bacon which are really good. Many nice gift, home decor and clothing items as well. A restaurant on site that you can get a bit to eat in. Pumpkins and Mums galore outside when you walk in. Puts you in an instant fall mood. And more outsidepetting zoo, live entertainment, and more. Recommend going on a week day in the fall if you can, it can get pretty nutty on the peak fall weekends where you might have to park a 1/2 mile away and stand in line to get in and for your donuts, but the line does move fast and it is worth the wait.

A family tradition to head here each fall. The apples are always delicious (of course you can make sure you pick the best ones!), the doughnuts are delicious, and the warm apple cider always hits the spot. We usually have lunch there as well and their BBQ pulled pork sandwich is quite tasty.

I have been coming to Edwards with my family for years and the same great apples, donuts and fun are had year in and year out. The prices on everything are a bit high but certainly not unfair given that part of what you are paying for is a day of entertainment! Kids will have fun on the playground, seeing the animals and ringing the bell. Adults will have fun listening to great music, seeing the antique farm equipment and browsing the store. Check out the potato tent for delicious and filling baked potatoes, but save room for the best of all APPLE CIDER DONUTS! Get at least a dozen and eat some fresh out of the oven because they will never taste as good later. What else can I say? There's a reason this business has survived a TORNADO! It's because people just can't get enough each year.

I was hesitant to review hoping my family was the only group that received shameful treatment by the staff, but after losing sleep over it and reading many reviews, it is clear that is not the case.

That staff was unnecessarily rude to my family and was completely unwilling to accommodate our mid-sized group. While the rules are clearly posted and understood, the staff continued to treat us like nothing more than a commodity. My extended family drove from many hours away to enjoy a nice day together, but the staff had absolutely no care or consideration. One employee even went as far as to stalk our group because he was empowered to do so and made childish comments when we collectively decided to get our money back and forgo apple picking. I have never been treated so inhumanely in my life.

I proceeded to speak with the owner who too was passive aggressive. His perceived racism and support of his staffs behavior was quite frankly shocking. He made it very clear that the discontent and treatment of my family were of little concern to him because they service "15,000 other visitors each day anyway."

Although the grounds provide for a lot of fun activities, especially for the little kids who loved the day, there are too many other options for picking apples and pumpkins to visit a place that cares more about profit than customer experience. I personally had come from the city planning on purchasing many fresh goods, but after our experience, could not support the farm.

Needless to say, we will probably never go back and would not encourage others to either.
