⭐ The customer service representatives are always polite when they give me misinformation. ⭐ Sometimes Edgepark delivers my supplies in the same month that I ordered them. My current monthly order, for three items that were in stock, was submitted on 11/8. It is now 11/28 and the order is still "In Progress."
If I could give 0 stars I would. Like most people using edgepark I need the supplies I order to survive. A T1 diabetic here, ordered supplies the beginning of the month. The representative I spoke to assured me the clinical notes and approval from insurance were cleared & ready to ship. I waited 10 business days to check my order status. Edgepark said waiting on my insurances approval, I called insurance they said no request was made. This scenario goes on back & forth for several days. After speaking to many supervisors one finally gave me a reference number to prove they sent the request, when I gave info to insurance, they said the reference number was not for me but another client. This happened yesterday right at 5pm, so here I am zero supplies because this company cannot do their job. As I said people need these supplies for survival! The fact they can causally blame and say “oh it’s the insurances fault” & have no way to problem solve is a joke and should be illegal. The customer service representatives and supervisors I have spoken to are rude and quick to get off the phone. At all costs do not use Edgepark.
Terrible company. I have been stuck going back and forth with them trying to get my daughter’s prescription Formula shipped. They claim that the order does not allow for any more to be sent because they shipped a 3 month supply. The pediatrician has now sent the order multiple times indicating the proper volume. They claimed that we reached our limit when in reality they only sent a one month supply. Then they claimed it was an insurance issue. Called my insurance and they claimed everything was good on their end.
The customer service is terrible and incompetent. We are working on switching suppliers because they simply cannot do their job.
Try to avoid using this company at all costs. Before I even received my breast pump I was on the phone with them 3 times individually, and 2 additional times with my insurance company on three-way. They kept making clerical errors with my insurance information leading to a delay in getting my pump.
After receiving my pump and having my baby, I’ve gotten bills from them 2x a month since July stating I owe the full cost of the pump. I’ve called them 6x, three of which with my insurance company on the line. Each time the same conversation: insurance company has not received the bill, Edgepark states they will resend it. Nothing has changed.
Having a newborn, I’m too busy to be calling them 2x a month for 30+ minute conversations and nothing get resolved.
All the negative reviews are true. I would give 0 star if possible. Edgepark is a joke. We referred by the hospital to get the ostomy supplies. They will give you different stories every time…such as not carrying the products, insurance issues ( one rep said they don’t accept Medicare, the other rep put incorrect ins info ), transferred you to contact their pharmacy dept for the order, and order have been cancelled without explanation. Then next time will call you indicated the order is ready to ship. When called back to verified if the order went through, they couldn’t give you the correct answered/directions. It is such as waste of time to dealt with them for weeks without getting any results. We will get the medical supplies somewhere else instead now.
Edgepark, please do the business seriously, all the customers contact you is in need of the medical supplies. Provide proper training to all of your staffs. Don’t put customers in danger of life if doesn’t care for their business.
This place is TERRIBLE! I placed an order and expedited shipping. A week later, I got a call saying 'We need more information'. I called again (on hold for 10 min). Was assured it would ship out that night and 'yes' they had all the information that they needed. Five days later, I got a call saying (surprise), 'We need more information. I called again. Waited 14 minutes. Told they needed to confirm insurance and doctor name. Did that (again). I told them i was now down to one item and needed it quickly - didn't care about insurance, I was willing to pay directly. They transferred me to customer service (on hold again). I asked her name (Veronica), started to explain the problem, and all of the sudden, Veronica was gone and an automated survey came on asking me to rate the service received. Seriously? Of course no one called me back. I am now on hold again (seven minutes so far) while I research their competition and place a different order next time. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS unless you have no option! BTW. When I finally did get taken off hold, they assured me they would overnight it. Of course they didn't.
I have been a customer for over 5 years and have never experienced customer service that is always, every call, 5 stars. I would highly recommend them as efficient, knowledgeable and most importantly, they care. After reading some of the reviews that are negative, it is obvious that you have to be somewhat aware of how insurance, doctor's offices work and do your own footwork. There is nothing out of the ordinary about making your own follow up calls to them, doctor's office or your insurance company. I know I am not their only customer. If you take responsibility for your order and do your part, you will be very satisfied.
The customer support team and billing team are kind enough but I had to jump through too many hoops and return too many calls to find out that after the 3+ hours I spent on hold that Edgepark could not help me. I received different answers from every employee I talked to. It was clear that there is a large discrepancy in the training program and what the team can offer. Each call ended with an optimistic solution until I received another call just hours later informing me that I was needing to provide information that I had ALREADY provided. I would not recommend this company to anyone! I was as level headed as I could be but after literally weeks of back and forth, I received the solution I was needing else where. Very disappointed in Edgepark. Hopefully they can get their acts together, but until then, I would steer clear from them.
They have demonstrated to be incompetent. The patient has to follow in all matter. After 3 weeks of calling them regarding my insulin needle ,I still have not resolved. How is it that they could never reach the MD and the order Is never faxed by the doctor. Incompetence .

Next excuse!. for them it is not about patient care its the $$$$$. Some of us can not afford to keep buying the insulin tips. its costly and my Union & insurance have contracted with these idiots. Stupid people. Jesus. Hope the bankrupt.
I can't thank them enough for shipping my supplies to me in a quick manner. I was out of supplies and they shipped it days before it was due. I've been with them for about 3 to 4 years now and I've never been disappointed with the service or the phone conversations. I still to this day feel respected and they have shown me they really care about me. I will never go to anyone else. Great phone etiquette.
Amazing company. Have always had a good experience with them. Very polite and helpful customer service. Orders are shipped very quick and received within a day or two. Also had problems with a delivery of supplies after Hurricane Harvey and they were able to ship out another order with no problems. Absolutely love working with them, was so thankful when we switched insurances that the new company used Edgepark as well!
I used Edgepark to order a breast pump for my first daughter with no problem. Three years later I ordered a second one for our new baby through the online service. It seemed simple. They only asked for my insurance info and Dr's name. However, they some how ended up contacting my Dr. from my first baby, and they shipped the pump to our old address (different state). The customer service rep I spoke with was very understanding and helped get a new one shipped to me quickly. They should have verified my address and other necessary info before shipping.
Completely incompetent people. Was transferred to this company from Liberty Medical for Diabetic supplies. Apparently they couldn't figure out how to transfer my insurance information, and billed the wrong company. I explained the correct information to them several times, they still couldn't figure it out, so just didn't ship the order. Not their problem apparently. Finally needed my insurance company to call them directly. They also apparently couldn't transfer the prescription over, or call my doctor, or let me know there was a problem. So over a month waiting for my order with no results. Apparently they don't get that these are medical supplies of vital importance that people are relying on.
I received the wrong pump, however, I didn't realize this because I waited until the night before my C-Section to open the box (also 3 months after it was shipped). The customer service we dealt with to get the correct pump was unbelievable. It was a 10 minute conversation, no hassles with how long its been or insurance, and the correct pump was hand delivered to our front door one day later. Would HIGHLY recommend this company if you want an easy, streamlined process.
We could not be happier with the service we have experienced for the past seven years. Just this past week I placed an order one morning and it was delivered the following afternoon! The free shipping policy is an added benefit Edgepark provides to maintain customer loyalty. Thank you for all you do to keep us well supplied with our medical needs.
Over twenty years ago, I started using Edgepark Medical Supplies and liked the service I received from them. Sadly, with a change in my insurance, I could no longer use them as my supplier. Happily, with a new year (and new insurance), I am back in the fold. With the new website (they were one of the first to adopt technology) its a breeze to order and if I have to call, the service reps are incredibly polite and knowledgeable. Definitely a 5 star business!
So far so good! I got online and filled out my doctor's info as well as my insurance, chose an approved pump, and they got a prescription and insurance approval the next day, and the day after that my new Spectra S2 pump came in!! It was the easiest thing I've had to do yet, and I'm very impressed. It also saved me from having to pay with money out of my pocket, having to put in a claim, and wait for months to get paid back. Barring nothing happens and I don't have to deal with my insurance company at all, 5 stars all the way!! Thanks Edgepark!
I ordered my Breast Pump through their website. Originally it was too early, as my insurance only allows an order 30 days before due date (pretty normal based on my understanding). Edgepark automatically sent me a reminder to order once the time window allowed for the order to be processed. I received the pump next day and paperwork for the insurance claim. It was really easy to fill out and I saw the claim processed on my insurance within a week. Overall super easy to deal with and no hassle. Thank you.
I always have a great experience with Edgepark. The representatives are always very knowledgeable about the products I order. If I've called 10 times, I've probably had just 1 or 2 reps that sound like they don't know much, but also sound like they could be new and are still learning. Orders are always processed timely and I get my order when I need it. This company is a great support to my needs. Thank you for honest and genuine concern for each one of your customers.
