Extremely lazy and unprofessional dealership. Walked in to look at buying a new truck with a trade in on my 2015 GMC Yukon. Very bland selection of trucks, but the salesman promised there were other trucks at another location and that there was an aftermarket parts "guy" who could add all the things I was looking for. I was introduced to the manager and the arrogance preceded him. I still left the kid my phone number and told him I'd be back in over the weekend to run numbers. The weekend rolled around and still never received the call like I was promised. I call the kid and he said "the guy" wasn't in and he'd be in on Monday. Again, promised another call which I never received. Just walking around the dealership and seeing all the salesmen standing around talking gave me the impression they really could care less about selling anything. Regardless, took my business to Henry Brown and ended up with the perfect truck that already had already been built with all the nice aftermarket parts, which don't void factory warrant and the part kits are under warranty for 3 years by Henry Brown. $61k truck out the door for $50k. Great sales people and manager!

Found out my normal dealership will only change oil with an appointment, but discovered Earnhardt has an oil express lane, so I had my oil changed late in the day on a Saturday, the staff was still very kind and helpful. The waiting area is pretty big and even has a section with kids toys and activities. (Which was very nice since I had my 4yr old son with me) overall a great experience and even though it's out of the way from my home, I will likely return to this dealership for service, parts and future car purchases.

Great friendly people while you are buying the vehicle. Once that is done they won't return your calls. Called 3 times and left 2 messages over a month ago. Still no call back. Do not recommend!!! Didn't even want to give one star but could post otherwise.

Vehicles listed on their website for sale are not really for sale, or they don't want to sell them and send to auction instead. Extremely disappointed in their misleading customers, it is insulting. Apparently they don't update their website either because the same truck that isn't available, is STILL on their website after a week and a half. Their salesmen are not knowledgeable in the difference between 4.8/5.3, or what they even are.. and try to sell the point that "well this one is a 5.3, it's better." really? That's all you got, it's better because it's a bigger number (essentially)?

My vehicle would fail to start on occasion. I had the battery checked and was told it was good. Issue continued to occur. Took it in to be checked. Now they told me it was the battery (bad cell). Had battery replaced. Issue happened again. Took it back. They said one of battery connections was loose. They checked starter and charging system and everything checked out ok. My service representative offered me a coupon for a free oil change to compensate me for having to come back. Issue happened again.. had to take it back. My service rep issued me a loaner car so they could spend whatever time was required to find and fix the problem. I was contacted later that day and informed the issue was a bad ground coming off the battery. My rep told me repairs were made, but they wanted to keep it and keep testing it to be sure that the problem was completely fixed. The next day I was called to come back and pick up my car as it was finished. I asked my rep if my original battery really was bad considering the the real issue was the bad ground. He assured me it was, but I am not convinced. $180 is not change.
Other than this, my experiences here have always been great. I will continue to use them for services on my vehicle.

Bought a Tahoe earlier this year from Earnhardt and I love it. The actual purchasing of the vehicle was overall very easy. No hassle like other dealers. Billy B was great. The service and follow ups were all great as well. Liked them so much we traded in another vehicle not too long ago. Same great service as the first time.

Reasonable pricing for vehicles and service (may be cheaper elsewhere but with a certified Chevy dealer it feels more legitimate and secure). Straightforward and honest with customers. They have consistently charged less than I anticipated for service work. After an accident, they work closely with insurance to get the vehicle fixed quickly and affordably. The new car warranty has also met my expectations. Calling the dealership for any department other than sales is a bit frustrating (a lot of transferring or holding), but in person the customer service is speedy and friendly.

Love this place! Fast service and really nice staff! They offer free car washes, rental cars, and even a shuttle! They also give you treats for your dogs!! They ensure their work, if you come here for any repairs or oil change and anything were to go wrong, they fix it no problem! free Under the hood inspection when you come here and they will let you know if anything is wrong! Really great place overall!!

I truly regret buying a vehicle from this business. I am not one to complain about places because I understand that bad things happen sometimes. But it has been one thing after another since I bought this vehicle. This is my explanation of what happened. When the building was Thoroughbred Chevy, I bought a vehicle from there. I wanted to show loyalty because they took great care of me and I I looked forward to doing business with them again. I did not realize it was previously Thoroughbred when I returned to buy a new vehicle and the salesman let me assume that it was Earnhardt that I bought the previous vehicle through . After I signed the the papers and I commented that it was actually Thoroughbred I bought the vehicle from and not Earnhardt, the salesperson laughed and said that he knew that it wasn't Thoroughbred. I found it very shady that they knew and did not inform me of that. Also, I requested a particular Bank to go through and without discussing it with me, they went through a different bank. Anytime I try to contact them for information I am given a run-around if not hung up on at least two or three times because no one was available. I purchased a warranty that covers the maintenance and wish I had not because you can never get in for an oil change even though it says Express Lube! There's always between a 2 and four hour wait. There is nothing Express about that! I truly wish I had never bought my vehicle there. And I have no intention of ever doing business with them again.

Tex, your sales slogan “This Ain’t No Bull” shouldn’t be used at Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler Arizona because there is plenty of “Bull” there.

I have been a customer of Earnhardt Dealership’s for years and have purchased eight Fords, one Jeep and now a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Truck. My wife and I went to Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler Arizona late in the evening, November 13, 2016. I thought it was the easiest purchase process I have ever done until we got in the Finance department to finalize the purchase contracts. They took copies of both of our drivers licenses which had our names and addresses to start the process, Bryan was rushing through the paper work so fast, because it was almost closing time, he made a lot of mistakes on the contracts. He misspelled our last name, misspelled the City on our address. We told him our address had to include a PO Box # or the post office would return all mail, not a physical address; he used only the physical address anyway. We also purchased an extended warranty contract and Bryan told us it was just like a bumper to bumper contract, covered everything, but the contract was also blank, nothing filled out on months or miles along with all the other wrong information. He told us to sign and not to worry and that he would correct everything in the system on Monday when we brought in the down payment amount. He also could not get the temporary license plate to process, we said we had a personized plate but he said it would not process so he applied for a new one. He had to give us a dealer plate to drive out with.
When my wife returned on Monday delivering the down payment, Bryan said that he corrected everything. For the extended service contract, he only gave us a brochure with the months and miles hand written on it, nothing else.
To make a long story short, nothing was changed. We never did get our licenses plate in the mail, had to go get it ourselves at the motor vehicle department and correct our name and the address. Our name is still incorrect on our loan contract. I went back in to the dealership and filled out a cancellation request to cancel the Mickey Mouse extended contract because it was still blank, only had the brochure with hand written months and miles on it. I have called Travis, another finance manager, numerous times on the status of the cancelled service contract and to this date, 3/6/17, they are still giving me the “I’ll call you back” Bull. All I get is excuses, “Bryan Davis no longer works here”, “I didn’t sell you the vehicle”, more Bull. I have already purchased a “Complete Real” service contract with another Chevrolet Dealership I can trust, just want the bogus blank one cancelled and refunded in full. I called the service contract provider and they said it was canceled in December 2016 and the full funds had been returned to Earnhardt Chevrolet. I called our lender on 3/6/17 and they said they have not received anything from Earnhardt Chevrolet, which means Earnhardt robbed me of $1,530.00 on top of everything else.
I expect the usual manager response to this review, “call us to correct the problem”.

The lack of Customer Service and incompetent management is the problem.
Next step, legal action on felony theft of $1,530.00.

We had bought our previous Equinox from another dealer in Mesa who was very helpful. When we felt it was time to trade in for another Equinox and went back there. Did not recognize the people working there and they were impolite and didn't listen to what I had to say. So they lost a customer! I tried Thorobred and the salesman was very pleasant, helpful and cooperative as well as the manager. Since we are deaf, this did not bother them and they were very patient and helpful which meant the world to us. Got ourselves a new one and we are pleased with the whole deal. Have not tried their service department as of yet (the car is only a few days old) but will later on. As for now, I recommend Thorobred!

Since the purchase of this car a year ago, twice I've went back to the dealership for routine check-up, changing oil, rotating the tires and so forth. I mentioned some items for them to check it out and they sure did that! When they said it'd be about half an hour to one our for this oil change and check out. True to their word, our car was all done and ready to leave within that time frame. I like their straight answer and not beating around the bush! Long live Thorobred Chevrolet dealership! Thank you!
