Service is great, but I was never given an estimation they just gave me a flat total at the end and I also was never given copies of X-rays. It is also pricer than other locations, but my fault for thinking they had better prices because they just said 85$ examination when I told them over the phone that my cat needed X-rays. I paid almost 500$ I'll do anything to keep my pet healthy just wish they were more transparent with pricing.

They were courteous and thorough. I recommend their services in an emergency unless you require a specialist (cardiologist, neurologist, etc).

Emergency vets are always a tough go. I like the staff at Eagle Rock, very compassionate and the doctors are kind but honest in their assessments. Their prices are also pretty fair, IMO, more so than other vet ERs I have been to.

This place was so caring and compassionate in our tough time. We had to put our dog that we had for over 14years to sleep. The staff was so caring and made sure that we were comfortable. My daughter and I were heartbroken to have to do this. But the staff really showed us us that they cared.

I had to come in late Sunday night after I came home and found that my sweet chihuahua mix had a swollen face. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful- from my panicked phone call to my in office visit everyone I came into contact with was sweet, calm and responsive. They were very gentle with my babe, and for an emergency service vet office I found their pricing extremely reasonable.

Great Dr and staff.. fair prices. I brought my puppy in because he wasnt eating and the dr explain what it could be. He gave me several options for treatment and gave me time to think about it. I def would come back

I recently came here with my distraught girlfriend about her cat that was in bad shape. The cat was lethargic, in pain, weak, and the cause was unknown. This kitty was very loved, she was treated well and yet was still prone to something. The moment we arrived the lady in the front desk reacted to the cat being so motionless. I commend her for her sense of urgency but that is where the praise ends. Instead of running a check that is covered by the consultation on what the cat has, instead of giving us options, instead of trying to work with us on figuring some way to get the cat stable, they confront us with a request for a deposit of $500. They didn't treat the cat or offer to run simple blood work or any alternative tests to see which ones we could do and only told us what we already knew, the kitty was in shock. They insisted that treatment or even testing was going to be at least $1000 and only after seeing our face of despair did they offer euthanasia. If you come here be prepared to drop money before they give your pet stabilizing treatment or even a cheaper option. They will not offer alternatives or cheaper options. They will not do payment plans. Money is priority here.

This is a genuine emergency facility to take your animal in the middle of the night for a real emergency. They are only open when most vets are closed, something like 8pm to 8am, but don't quote me on that. They are very kind but more importantly they understand triage and know what do in an emergency situation. You can call them if need be and tell them your situation and they might be able to give you advice if you unsure how to proceed. Its not cheap, but they'll tell you costs as quickly as they can. They don't over charge as far as I'm concerned. Expect to pay minimum $300 if they begin to work on your animal. They are very competent and they truly care, but just understand bills can get high very quickly so tell them if you have limited funds. We feel lucky to have to this place so close. We've had to use them a few times and I don't know what we would have done if they weren't around.

I recently had to take my cat here. It was, of course, very expensive, it being an emergency situation, but the staff could not have been more helpful through the whole process. They even tried their best to work with me about cost. I'm very thankful for their work and their humanity.

This is the kind of place you hope you never have to go back to even when you get 5 star service. That said I would go out of my way to avoid this place in the event I need dog ER services again. For starters the lobby was filthy. There was pee all over the floor with boo attempt to clean it in the hour that we were there.

The vet had pretty much the worst bedsude manner I've seen. He was a short guy with black hair, didnt catch his name, I'm not sure he even told us. Zero effort to greet our dog or put her at ease. He did a pretty thorough exam, but didnt seem to listen to us at all. He might be a decent vet, but should probably be kept away from the people that come in with their pets.

I will seek out another pet ER if I ever need one.

On a cold and rainy day in November, a tiny (badly injured) baby Zebra finch landed on my car. Had to take her here. She was cared nicely. That little bird is growing and chirping happily ever since.

This is probably the only place thats open during late hours in LA, I took my sick dog and she was treated in less than 30 minutes and happy with service. Its a bit pricey but you gotta pay the emergency prices

This is the place you want to bring your pets when they are ill. The customer service is great the Doctor was great. He made me feel like I brought my puppy to the right place. I felt comfortable with him he explained everything to me on what was going on the my puppy. This is the place to bring your pets

The people here are great. I am so thankful for this place because it is down the street from where I live. It was the only vet open when my dog needed an emergency surgery. I'm so happy it didn't cost an arm and a leg and my dog fully recovered.

My small dog ate a mysterious poison and was going into some sort of catatonic seizure that seemed to be causing her extreme pain. Due to the seriousness of her condition, the doctor treated her immediately and kept her overnight. They saved my dog's life without even being able to pinpoint what was ingested and this was after numerous drug and toxicology tests. They worked quickly and were honest with me about all possible outcomes. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and overall kindness that this knowledgeable staff possess.
