It was pleasantly quaint with plenty of amenities. I think a few more seats in the waiting area would be nice.
I liked the shuttle rides from gate to gate. I felt like i was in the movie Total Recall. Any how it was a thrill to ride around the tarmac and get a great view of those beautiful birds.

Beautiful hotel! Nice & clean! Rooms are clean! Close to everything. We had 2 minor issues that was instantly resolved so no need to go into details. Definitely suggest this hotel. I even got some great photos with my photographer! Definitely a 5 star to me!

A really unique airport in a way from its layout & design, transportation, concourses, and etc. The last time I visited the Dulles was back in the the summer of 2020, I’m not sure if it is very busy currently but I can tell you that during 2020 the airport was a ghost town, as in no one was there and it gave off a kind of cool & ambient kind of vibe. Other than what it was In the past summer, I’m not sure what it is currently now as in how busy it is but other than the people I really like this airport. Outstanding Dulles Airport! ☀️✈️ (It’s really great to go here during the summer!)

Awesome airport and great food once again. Many of the places seemed new so having a layover wasn’t so bad because it gave us time to dig in to a good amount of the food. We spent several hours in the airport but we weren’t bothered by it. We were comfortable and staff were friendly once again. Like to thank all the staff for giving us a clean and safe environment to travel in. This airport has high standards.

Went through this airport on my way back from UC to India once. Really well organized airport. The security check is quite fast. Wide selection of items at the duty free section and good eating options for travelers.

Security was quick, bathrooms were clean. The rental car facilities are about a 10 minute bus trip from the airport and they all have shuttles. The ticketing counters are a little squished together, but they all are listed on a map and easy to find. The security is down a level and easy to access.

Parents: Near gate B70 there's a NASA playground that's well done. They also have step stools in all the bathrooms that are permanently installed and fold down to help kids reach the sinks. Look for a metal contraption under one of the sinks.

The United terminal is terrible, but rest of the airport is clean, well organized, and functional. There are most of the food companies you are used to seeing. Lots of restrooms and water fountains. Between terminals you might take a tunnel, a train, or the massive waste of US tax dollars weird busses. The airport is easy to access from DC with a dedicated no toll road.

A wonderful arrival experience after many times at 3rd world JFK and Newark. Easy to navigate and not a lot of walking. Immigration, baggage claim (no charge for carts) and customs were a breeze. Plan to to use it more for International flights.

Decent sized airport for both domestic and international flights. The airport can get busy when there are international flights are loading, otherwise it's not too terribly busy. Ample amount of restaurants and shopping when waiting for a flight. Could use a couple more restaurants though. The 4x4 transport vehicles are neat for the first time, but then they become a hassle, trams are better.

Nice small airport. Very clean. Not difficult at all getting around except for the windy way to get to the train to go outside of the airport. Not good if you have a ton of carry on items to lug around.

Nice airport. Transportation system is unique, with bus type cars that take you between terminals, instead of trains. It's not so state of the art, but it's fast.

The worst customs and immigration experience. Not overloaded with flights arriving and it still took 2 hours to get through. Supervisor acknowledging they had no staff and were working some overtime. I travel internationally for business around the world frequently all year and Dulles is the worst airport for waitimes hands down. Makes me recommend to other business executives not to come here.

Dulles is known around the world, from its iconic architecture to it being the gateway to the nation's capital; I frequently transit through Dulles and have always found it to be efficient and staffed with great people.

Lots to see and do before a flight out or in. Plenty of parking and well services by authorized transportation providers.

Free WiFi throughout the airport. Clean facilities and easy to navigate. Only downside is the baggage carts cost $5.00 to use (cash or cards, though the card readers don't always work) one of the few airports in the world that charges to use a baggage cart; upon returning the cart you get a whopping .25 cents, if the machine works.

Ranks pretty high on my list of favorite airports.

Overall great experience with Dulles. My flight was at 7 am so I did not have to wait at all for security check points or bag checks. Food options are a little limited but for breakfast there was plenty of options to choose from. The longest part was waiting for everyone to get seated on the plane. This was domestic flight to Oahu last year in April.

IMO, One of the best airports on the planet. The drop off main terminal is organized and flows very efficiently. Check-in desks almost always fully staffed, and it's no process at all. Guidance to different areas is easily shown, and the airport tram is very helpful. Big fan of the Mobile Lounges, a comfortable way to get from concourse to concourse, and definitely beats walking a mile.

This is a decent place to fly through when traveling to DC. There is a great deal of traffic that flows through this airport, and the staff do a great job of handling these travelers. However, it can slow down at security check points and at restaurants, on the shuttle, and restrooms during some hours. Still, it has great food choices and some comfortable facilities. Not a poor choice to flow through.

This is about navigating the airport - to get from the main Terminal to the gates you take either the new underground train or the transport vehicles (large bus type people movers).

The train goes to A, B or C gates (but you could take it to C and walk to D). The people mover goes from the main Terminal directly to D gates.

There are 4 Concourses - A, B, C and D. All A gates and B gates are in one long building and you can walk from A2 to B79 in about 15 minutes). The A / B building is new and very nice.

C / D gates are in another older building (same walking time from the first C gate to the last D gate).
