Nice small airport. Very quiet. Lines were short, although there isn't much in the way of refreshment, there are a few options. Comfortable seats, and plenty of outlets.

There was only two flights flying from the airport on the day of my travel , both to Chicago .

Bathrooms were dirty and very little water was coming from bathroom faucets. Some faucets had no water. Stall walls were dirty. Disappointed.

Security checks are insanely strict. I expected to get through a small airport quicklyit was the longest security line I have ever stood in. There was also only 2 staff assigned to the check in counter.it took over 30 min just to get up to the counter and get my bag checked. Worst airport experience in my 40 years of flying.

From now on, I'm using TOL rather than DTW. It means a little more layover time in ORD, ATL/CLT from TLH - but well worth it.

1. It feels like a high-end General Aviation terminal.
2. You'll breeze through TSA
3. Rental cars are on location - not via shuttle like the third-party brokers indicate.

Why is this airport even here? Not even in Toledo. It is always empty. The size of plane that I've taken here twice should be outlawed for commercial use. The airport itself offers no food or shopping that I've found and upon returning a rental car here I was in total awe of how under used it is. An entire line of rental car reps literally doing nothing. No phones out. After paying for a car I never recieved, the customer service rep actually wrote the customer service number down on a scrap piece of paper and handed it to me. Wow. Hadnt done that four times already. May as well have given me a quarter and said to call someone who cares.
