Terrible experience. In a small group with family by ourselves not near anyone and an a Male Employee was extremely rude to us, to the point we left immediately. Will never go back. Dont bother with this place.

My husband and I just did a tasting and had a wonderful time! Price was $15 per person to taste 6 wines and the glasses were included as yours to take home! The staff was so nice and helpful and the grounds were really beautiful!!! Highly recommend this place to visit!!!!

If you're doing wine tasting in the Austin area and you have a bad experience, but you didn't come here, then it's your own fault. This place also has a sister winery in CA for your friends who don't want to branch out and try some of their awesome Texas wines. Great views, good wines, nice staff.

Good wine. Great venue. The view over the cliffs is amazing. Order a bottle, sit outside and enjoy the weather. A perfect afternoon.

We have been members at Driftwood for a long time. We missed the last pick up event so needed to stop by to get our 3 bottle and for our complimentary glasses of wine. Cold Thursday afternoon so the tasty room wasn't busy. Staff was very attentive and the wine was great (as always).

Great views, large outdoor area, friendly staff and good wine! You can also bring your own food if you want to have a picnic, otherwise they have meats/crackers for purchase. Highly recommend if your looking for wine tasting with a view.

We did a wine tasting here on a Friday afternoon and it was very enjoyable. Staff was very friendly and the wine was tasty! Quite a few sweet wines available here, not as many dry. Found a few we really enjoyed though!

Pleasant experience, good wine. Feels more local than a few other wineries we visited in the area; we preferred the less "trendy" feel. If in the area, put it on your list!

Beautiful estate and winery on top of hill. Excellent service from staff. Spacious outdoor patio with tranquil scenery. Nice selection of wines to taste from and chocolates to pair.

I'm disappointed in the service we received at Driftwood Estate Winery - absolutely pathetic. There were 6 of us females and we had a designated driver in a black Mercedes van. They kept saying we were a bus. I had already called ahead to confirm we could arrive in our larger vehicle after reading other bad reviews, and a female told me absolutely as long as we were a private group with a designated driver. We showed up and an incredibly rude OFF DUTY constable named Ray said to "get out." I told him he was being rude and he said "turn your car around and get out" and then told our driver "get 'me out of here!" This would be acceptable if we were drunk and behaving poorly but he was rude and disrespectful off the bat. Nothing disgusts me more than a chauvinistic man. He should be spoken to immediately. I then called the Driftwood Estate Winery and a male manager said "yep sorry bout it" and fed me a line about how they don't accept groups after a certain hour. We were not on a tour or part of a "group." I'm sorry, last I checked most people don't go to a winery to drink alone? 6 people seems like a small number of friends to meand I double confirmed that when I called. The worst part was that he put the phone down and let me sit on hold while he proceeded to laugh and make fun of us with people in the background. I waited for 5 minutes when I finally realized he too was a disrespectful man who didn't seem to think he needed our business. He purposely left me hanging - what kind of customer service is that? Unwelcoming to out of town visitors - horrible experience. After reading reviews I'm seeing this is apparently (in their eyes) an acceptable way to run their business. I'm all about local businesses but these people don't deserve anyone's money. They prefer drunk drivers and don't like women. We all have families, husbands and kids to go home to and we had a driver simply because we were trying to avoid driving under the influence. We will take our money elsewhere. I hope the Dripping Springs police department sees these reviews throughout this page and see that this establishment is promoting DRUNK DRIVING. I will be reporting this to the TABC.

This winery has the most beautiful grounds of any winery I have visited in Texas. You wind into the property on a small road and you are thinking what am I getting into here. You climd a steep hill to find a nice large parking lot leading to several very nice structures and a gorgeous outside seating area with an awesome view off the hill. I plan to come back when I have more time to just sit, enjoy some of the excellent wine and hang out and enjoy the location. They are also dog friendly which is always appreciated.

Always have a good time when we go to the club member parties and the knowledgeable staff are pleasant to to talk with. I am newer to the wine scene and learning quite a bit from everyone there. Wines are wonderful and priced reasonably!
