Dr Glover is a Master Surgeon performing over 1000 surgeries. His knowledge and experience far exceeds most Physicians in his field of medicine.
I found Dr. Glover to be very nice and professional. I’ve gone to another urologist and compared to the big places I recommend Dr. Glover. He took his time and explained different options to deal with my ED.
He explained why I was experiencing my issue in a way that made sense to me. He wasn’t in a big rush to get me out of the office to tend to the next patient.
The most impressive was the fact that he called around to different pharmacies to locate the best price for the medication that he was prescribing. He realized that some medication is not covered under insurance and wanted to make sure I got what I needed at a good price.
One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a doctor. Very inexperienced and doesn’t know his field. He ordered CT scans because he didn’t have access to the ones done in Fairfax hospital, but somehow missed (4) 1 inch sized blaster stones in my fathers bladder. Catheterized him with no strap to hold it in place - just left it dangling. Said the reason he couldn’t urinate is likely due to Uric Acid stones but was unsure. He gave him a medication that would supposedly dissolve them. He Assured me he’d come up with a plan to solve the problem. After waiting for a week for a phone call, I called his office and spoke with him - he was frazzled and said he was still waiting on pathology, he’ll call me when he has a plan. That my father could “die on the operating table and he doesn’t want his blood on his hands” . Well it’s been a month, no phone call, no lab results. Nothing.... we found a different urologist and within 5 mins of seeing him he pulled up the CT scan from the hospital saw the stones and said that with a catheter in there is no way a medication would dissolve anything, the catheter would drain out the urine before the medication filled urine could dissolve anything. The only way they could be removed at that size was surgically. He coordinated pre op clearance with his cardiologist and everything was stress free, easily solved and he was quickly attended too. Dr. Glover is out of practice, he and his nurse are unprofessional and and shouldn’t be practicing. Find someone else.
We needed an urologist asap and only Dr. Glover nearby us had an appointment in coming days. THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE ! Reception was OK, nurse was not nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Glover probably was a good doctor 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 years ago. But I cannot recommend this old century to anyone!
We met Dr Glover today and he was so helpful. He received us so kindly and all of his office staff were so helpful and professional, specially Beth, his office manager was so kind and gave us discount on our consultation fee as well as free medications. We will never forget this appointment and will suggest every friend to visit this office if they need a great Urology team.
