What a wonderful place to go to spend the day. Whether you're looking for something to eat, something to buy, or something to do. You can always find it here. Had the teenagers down there a few days ago and they were dancing literally in the streets. Prices are a little bit more than I would like to pay, but when you consider the entertainment and the joy you get just being there it's well worth your time and your money.

Downtown Disney is a lively little shopping area just outside of Disneyland and California Adventure. This area has all sorts of shops and eateries including the World of Disney store where you can get almost everything Disney without going into the parks. There is also a very lively nightlife here, including band performances and some street performer style acts. Make sure you get parking validated though - one stamp gets you 2 hours of free parking; 2 stamps gets you 4 hours of free parking.

I've been to downtown Disney in Orlando and frankly that one is much nicer. I was a bit disappointed in this one. Not as clean and "Disney", it felt like almost any strip mall. Though it was a strip mall with a huge Lego store, so it had that heavily in it's favor. I love the huge sculptures outside the store. I also wish it were easier to figure out hours - it said it was open until 2am, but almost all restaurants and shops closed by 10, a couple were open until 1am. I'm still not sure WHAT was open until 2 A list of hours somewhere would be helpful, instead of having to check each individual location's hours.

Wonderful place to experience. You must go. I went there on my Birthday. The holiday decorations are spectacular! ESPN Zone has great food. If it is your birthday and you let them know, they will wish you happy birthday on their huge digital sign. They have a fountain that is very unique.

This is a great place to spend some time when you're in town. It consists only of restaurants and shops, but it's all so beautifully done that its fun to just wander too. If you're there near a holiday, it will be decorated. Even when it's not dressed up for a holiday, the trees, fountains and decorative store fronts provide a lot of eye candy. Most of the restaurants offer a large outdoor seating area so you can take advantage of the southern California weather. If you're lucky, you'll come across some free, live music performances either in the restaurants or out on the plaza. If you are visiting one of the theme parks, consider taking a break and jumping on the monorail to head to Downtown Disney for a much wider variety of food and drink then the parks offer. It's a great break! The only reason for dropping off one star is the high prices. Don't expect to find much below $20/person for food.

Fun little place outside of the park. It’s nice cause you get a portion of the Disney experience without having to pay. Security is great, so don’t worry about that. Restaurants are good, but the selection is rather wanting. Staff as always is fantastic.

Very beautiful in night, you can take a tram back to the parking lot after you finish. Many choices of shops, tenants, stalls, and many more. Sometimes too crowded because it's near the tram station, many people passing by. But it's still a safe environment.

Oh gosh, my mom and one of my Godmothers would take me here almost every single month of the year back when I was a little girl. My favorite store to go to was Build A Bear and a store where you can do DIY makeups. I remember making a glittery lip gloss for my grandmother. It's a pretty cool and fun shopping center!

A fun Disney experience without having to spend a lot of money. It has been well over 20 years since I've been there and the changes were mind boggling, as were the park fees. The hotel remodel was really nice and Dole Whip without being in the park!!! Bonus!

Just visited Fossil store at Downtown Disney and had a wonderful experience. I received great customer service by Katie. I'm a little sad that this location is closing, but there are other locations close enough. Love their merchandise!

When I have time kill and money to burn this is a fun place. I like the Rain Forest Cafe and the Jazz restaurant. Wetzels Pretzels is good too. I don't like crowds so only go during the day on weekdays. Parking cost money if you will be there more than a few hours.

Bathrooms are "usually" clean. Downtown Disney is great to spend some down time but can be dizzying at times and parking becomes more challenging -- especially during the busiest times of the season. With a little patience, you'll find a little bit of everything whether it's shopping, movies, bars, restaurants, or a park-like promenade. It's definitely a teaser to Disneyland.

There is so much here. All the food I tried was great. Every restaurant follows Disney's policies about food allergies. I always felt safe when I ate. You can do all of you Disneyland shopping in one place instead of hitting every shop inside the park. All of the same merchandise is here, in one smaller area.

Very cool place, really great to take a walk, grab something to eat, it's always fun and exciting here! Fun restaurants, live entertainment, great food options, movie theater ~ definitely one of my go-to places for a Sunday afternoon! I definitely recommend checking it out!!! Parking is great too free two hours which is usually plenty if you don't plan on staying for movie and dinner.

Love this place. Lots of places to eat and shop. There is also a theatre. Really digging the live bands and street performers. Has all the same food stands as Disneyland but without the lines. Just wish it wasn't an exit at the end of the evening from Disneyland, because it gets super congested then. If your expecting to eat at a place like Jazz Kitchen, don't be surprised by the hour waits in the evening times. Overall, though, great place to chill.
