A fun spot on the shoreline. Good food and I particularly like that they have live music on the weekends.

Nice place for lunch or dinner year round. I had veggie burger with cheddar and sautéed onions. Wife had grilled swordfish sandwich. Both were excellent! Good service in the bar area.

Great place on the shoreline for seafood! One of the few places I've found that has fried avocado as well - it's worth a try. I've had a decent amount of their menu and although you'll pay a bit extra since they're in Madison, it is quite good.

Protip: make reservations. It's always busy.

Food is very good live dance bands on Sunday Afternoons 4-8 pm.
A regular dance crowd hangs out here on Sundays. many great dancers.. -entertaining to watch, they are all so different- Live dance music is occasionally to loud. Good Atmosphere lots of socializing. The restaurant side is isolated from the Bar/Band side
Sea Food is especially good. First Class establishment.

Pretty great food, although a little pricey. I've never had bad service here either. The location can't be beat and I'm glad the shoreline has Donahue's! We frequent it as a family.

Fun place to go for live music on Sundays. Food is consistently good service can be very spotty. Often very crowded when there is music. Lots of good dancers

Food is consistently good and fresh. Full bar. Terrific staff. Easy to find and good amount of parking. Live music on weekends. It's a popular place and has a lot of regulars so it gets full and you may have to wait for a table.

Came with friends while visiting Hammonasset State Park. Food was yummy and atmosphere was very chill. Service was very prompt. Everything you expect from a good restaurant.

Nice warm atmosphere. Service was very good. Whole Belly Clams were tasty and tender, no sand or shell pieces in them. Chowder was good with herb taste added. Good! Mama's chicken was tender with adequate vegetables and very tasty rice!

We got there at about 9:40/9:45p on a Saturday night in November. We asked the bouncer if we could take a table and get food. He said yes and pointed us in the right direction. After almost 15 minutes one of the waitresses came over and said something to the effect "you know we're closing, right?" and wouldn't even get us a drink. So we just sat there awkwardly waiting for an Uber to come all the way from New London. Apparently the kitchen closes at 10 and the waitresses want to walk out the door at 10:05pm, regardless of how busy it is. I understand mid week or if it was dead, but it made no sense on a busy Saturday night. Too bad, it seemed like it could be a fun place.

One of the worst experiences I had. Dining room was freezing, asked to turn ac off, was for a little then came back on even stronger. Lobster bisque literally had 2 pieces of small lobster parts, the creamy part didn't taste right. Asked for well done steak, came out as medium rare. I cracked open a piece of the lobster and the meat was black. Completely disgusted. Manager took off my meal and one bowl of the lobster bisque, not the other 2. Did not send any condolences, didn't even come over to the table, the dining room was empty so no it wasn't busy. All in all, was not satisfied. Definitely not coming back.

The food was great and quickly prepared but the service was just awful to say the least. Completely understaffed, the waitress didn't come back at all to check on us after bringing our food. We had to get the attention of the bartender in order to get our check One of the meals we had ordered wasn't finished, so we had it boxed up. There was a good amount of fries left with the order yet it wasn't boxed up, only the panini. It's food that I paid for so it's very puzzling as to why it wasn't given to me! I'm completely disappointed, definitely not going back ever again. This is coming from a person who is not very picky and very understanding when it come to restaurant service.
